I wish 7-11 carried justice, at least they restock regularly and anybody from hobo to CEO can buy something for the same price.

in this case,
It's a sadly appropriate metaphor for justice too.

They do carry beer in glass bottles, which can be a form of justice...and apparently they sometimes have guns hidden behind the snacks in some locations, which is kind of like an Easter egg that could be either justice or really whatever you want it to be. I mean, this is 'Murica, after all.

I got a Slurpee recently, spurred only by proximity to the machine and a sudden wave of nostalgia. In my reminiscings of the halcyon days of my youth, I forgot you have to drink those farkers really slowly or you will be crippled by brain freeze. I must of looked like I was having a stroke in my car.

It's unclear if the shootings were connected to Free Slurpee Day, celebrating the chain's July 11 -- 7/11 -- birthday.

String of robberies?

More like a string of murders and attempted murders..

Multiple fatalities for a thousand bucks, maybe?

This guy is on his own level of broken.

Gas station hot dogs are a remarkable achievement of Western Civilization. They are awesome, you are wrong, and you should apologize.

I submitted this with funnier headlines, the 1st 2 robberies were 7-Elevens I've shopped at all the time, guy did a trial run across the San Fernando Valley the night b4, if you knew the layout of Southern California this makes no sense at all, unless he's a quasi Christopher Dorner styled ex employee with a grudge... only drag was nearly ALL the 24 Hour stores & gas stations were closed last night, we ran on fumes

Dude wears a mask. That's impressive for criminals these days. Seems like 90% of the stuff I see on here I'm like what the fark? You know you can legally walk around with a mask now 24-7 and no one thinks twice.

If this guy has a range of operations and isn't on a cross country thing, start posting up armed unmarked security in some stores in the area.

String of convenience store robberies, over five hours, across three counties?

CSB:  I worked at a 7-11 the first 11 months or so out of college while I figured out if I was going to law school (I didn't) or what.  Graveyard shift.

Guy comes in, chats a minute, gets some quarters, then goes to the video game room (in the 1980's the stores had a little alcove with a few games in it.)

Two other guys come in and split up.  One stays at the register to distract me while the other guy roams the store stuffing shiat in his pockets and jacket.  Register guy keeps eying the guy in the game room, who has stopped playing his game to see what these two are up to.  Comes out and asks to use the phone.  Calls the cops on the downlow.  They show up, the game room guy is a cop and figured out these guys were going to rob me in addition to the shoplifting.  They know one of the guys, he's a petty criminal around town; the other guy has multiple warrants.  And a rusty butcher knife down his pants.  One of the cops who came after the call picks the knife up off the counter, looks at it, looks at me, and says "he was going to stick this in you, son."

Blue Oyster Cult tours fairly regularly I think.  They're on tour this year Including 3 MSG shows featuring a full album played live for their 50th anniversary each night: BOC, Tyranny & Mutation and Secret Treaties.

Cheap Trick will be "special guest" of Rod Stewart tomorrow in Indiana and will tour mostly with him through mid-September when they leave for a few shows in the UK.

EW&F is touring the US with one date in Cancun and last year there was this:

I wasn't keeping up with upcoming shows last year so I didn't go. I've seen Cheap Trick and always wants to see BOC. I've seen Santana a few times and always left happy.

I've never seen Pandemic so I don't know what comes after them:

/Metal band from Krakow Poland - no tour dates that I found, but it looks like the were around before COVID.

My territory as a mechandiser would take me from Oxnard  to ( insert SFV cityname here ) to Brea , and I would come in from La Habra if I had to maybe hit Santa Ana or Anaheim first. Sometimes I would go further east, and see at least 3 stores heading north in Ontario / Chino / Norco  . 7 11's have a fast in and out aspect , all over. It makes sense because far and away takes longer to get a thing made of, and depending on the time- one can make good tiing and get to places quick if they know the roads , and avoid sigalerts. Disclaimer- I have not been to a single of those 7-11's in at least 2 weeks , and I am not involved in any kind of a heist op.

I haven't had a Slurpee since 1974.  I would probably do the same thing.  I wonder what flavor I used to like?
