The most famous inmate of the Bastille was probably the Marquis de Sade. He missed being freed by the mob because he'd been transferred to a different prison 4 days earlier.

/I hope this isn't part of the story which I didn't read

Every time I see this video, I ask how long before the authorities blame the little old lady for causing the electrical disruption.
