Meh...
Just some rich asshole procuring bragging rights instead doing something of value with their money.

Possibly, just possibly an investment strategy, but I'm going with my first guess, and the ending is the same.

With heavily peated wares like Ardbeg I usually prefer when they're not aged for too long because they just lose their uumphhh.
