There used to be a boat just outside the party cove in Lake of the Ozarks called AquaPizza and they made a killing.  This was in the late 80's or early 90's, so I assume that there's still something like that going on...?

i would HATE it if someone was yelling about pizza through a megaphone on my nice quiet beach.

also, dunedin is where DeathSantis grew up.

Back in the 90s I knew a guy who wanted to start a place called Psychic Pizza. The idea being he would drive around and ring doorbells and say something like, " I sensed that you wanted pizza."

I have no idea if he ever tried to do this or not. I thought it was a pretty ridiculous idea at the time, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe it could work in the right neighborhood. Maybe it could be more like an ice cream truck. Maybe that already exists.

Either way, let's make sure it's not New England beach pizza!

What's he paying to insure that boat?  What's he paying in gas?  Plus time and raw ingredients.  $800 on a good day, fine.  $100 revenue per hour.  Pay yourself, what, $25/hr?  Overhead is 20%, there goes another $20/hr.  So, at the end of the day you split $55/hr with upkeep on the restaurant and the profit with your co-owners.  And you've lost one day of your life.  Maybe more with the threat of skin cancer.

Hmm, a nice (well insulated) wood fired oven down by the docks, a giant slide in pie warmer and a fast-ish boat? That is one heck of a fun, and possibly lucrative idea.

At least be kind.

Naw, that's EVERY adult PERSON on SW FL beaches. Tampa is more north than "us" and dunedin is above that.

However, I'm sure it works the same.

In some places you can walk out literally a mile before it hits 5' deep, even at high tide.

And the gulf is like a bath now, almost 90*F.

The tourists are getting in on the "drink beers in the water" game FOR SURE!

Huh. This just gave me an idea. Instead of pizza, I could have women! Anyone want to invest in Boat Ho? (Trademark pending)
