If I were on TPIR, I think I'd ask Drew Carey if I could play Plinko instead. That game legitimately gives me anxiety. I have empathy for the poor hiker that I'm about to send to his death.

In an episode of the 1976 syndicated nighttime version of The Price Is Right, Dennis [James] referred to the mountain climber character in the Cliff Hangers game as "Fritz," a reference to famous Mountain Climber Fritz Weissner. Janice Pennington's husband Fritz Stammberger, was also a mountain climber. The contestant who had played Cliff Hangers lost the game and as the mountain climber tumbled over the cliff, James shouted "There goes Fritz!," unaware that Janice's Husband was named Fritz or that Stammberger had gone missing in the Spīn Ghar mountains causing Janice to spend the rest of the episode backstage crying.

A Cy Young, World Series ring, 155 wins and career earnings north of $250 million.  He'll be in the Hall of Very Good for sure.

You would think the mountain climber itself would be upsetting. Fritz the spy?

THIS!!!  The Tigers 2014 Rotation:  Verlander, Scherzer, Price, Porcello, Sanchez.  All went on to win a World Series with other teams!
