Why was India split into two countries? - Haimanti Roy

Stressful episode.  Pretty sure Bruno almost reintroduced himself as Brian.

I'm loving this series so far.  Like Moon Knight, the first couple of episodes were a bit slow, but once they established the characters it kept ramping up better and better. The last three episodes here were great.   Definitely want more!

Hey haven't you heard? We don't talk about Bruno in here.

What's up with Damage Control? They started as efforts to clean up after the Chitari invasion, now they're some anti-enhanced-being government agency? They have a massive prison, but don't seem to know how to handle prisoners? How many prisoners do they have, anyway?

/I'm assuming Ross is behind their funding and increased responsibilities, though.

Damage Control was created to clean up messes after superhero related events.  The the Sokovia Accords happened.  Now every unregistered meta that shows up is a potential mess that they will be eventually responsible for cleaning up; and they are really not qualified to handle it.

Have watched every episode and loved every one.  Really irked me with all of the hate after it debuted. And not the kind of hate as you would expect if a show isn't good, I get if the show sucks, but get off of that bigoted take because of her ethnicity.

Sure, I'm just kinda wondering what the steps in between were (And why they're so bad at handling prisoners despite having their own prison?)

Partition is not something I've ever heard about, it is nice to get out of New York, so to speak. The Djinn take is really interesting, granted Iove mythology in general. Is there deeper info on what the bangle is derived from?

I have no way of confirming this theory, but I think the changes were made to MCU Damage Control after Marvel saw how badly DC & NBC shat the bed with 'Powerless', which was pretty much a DC attempt at a Damage Control tv series, coming out the same year as Homecoming where Damage Control was first introduced to the MCU. Didn't want to look like a copycat to the general public, I suppose.

So, the MCU kicked it up a notch and made Damage Control more militant nd proactive about their mission. And given all the epic insanity that happened in the MCU after their introduction in Spider-Man: Homecoming, it makes sense. Adrian Toomes selling and adapting salvaged Chitauri tech. The appearance of the Inhumans. The snap. The final fight against Thanos in Endgame. The reappearance of the Eternals. The Incursions caused by No Way Home that could destroy not just Earth, but the entire universe. Wanda mentally enslaving an entire town. The Super-Soldier formula re-appearing in the hands of terrorists. And I don't doubt that Ross is indeed behind the change in Damage Control; he can't control the Avengers or SHIELD, and as Secretary of Defense, he would have the authority to make Damage Control into his own vision. For Ross, Damage Control replaces the (apparently) failing/dying SHIELD as a law enforcement agency, and the Thunderbolts are a team he can control.

Anyways, just my nerd thoughts on the matter.

I thought we weren't doing the Inhumans. Y'know, what with the changes to Kamala's powers and all.

/Also, not sure if Strange shared the info about incursions (Not sure why he would past Wong and maybe Banner?)
//Also also, does that mean DoDC is running the Raft?
///Also also also, why are they so bad at their jobs?

Episode felt too short... needed to give a few of those scenes a little more time because a few plot points felt awful rushed.

I'm really enjoying the show overall, though. I especially like how she's been accumulating her eventual costume piece by piece... it's not something she just slapped together, it's something where every piece has meaning to her.

The only info on the bangle comes from the show. That's because in the comics she got her powers from being an inhuman. And the power she got was the ability to stretch and enlarge herself in part or in whole and change her appearance and hair. So she's basically Mr. Fantastic+Giant Man+Skrull all rolled into one. The whole Green Lantern power from jewelry was made up for the show.

People overall aren't watching, and I suspect we all know why.  Doubly sad, since it's so good.
