Trial of the Incredible Hulk was better.  First live action Daredevil and it wasn't half bad.

The worst, most cheesy episodes of The Incredible Hulk were still better than this:

Even as a kid, I was baffled by the decision to have Hulk's wig be so big and furry. Big hair makes your shoulders look smaller. Just seemed like a weird choice. Anyways... carry on.

MCU ain't got nothing on that and like all great things that was the followup to Iron Man!

If it is one thing I am grateful for, it is the spectacular production values of modern entertainment.   Nothing turns me off of a show quicker than cheaping out on sets and effects.    They just make me cringe.  I quit The 300 when they came down to Earth in a rocket made out of cinderblock.     OG Gorn is known more as a comedy sketch than a scary space farin' monster.    Any "dress up" Trek episode.   All except the most recent Dunes, for both costume and worm.

Can't watch 'em!

Except that Incredible Hulk Returns came out in 1988 and several of the shows and movies in that clip predate that by up to 9 years.

I was 4 years old when that came out and I still knew that costume was completely wrong.

I was a young male adult in the 80s - thus I don't remember too much about the 80s because I was a young adult male.
Like, party on, dudes!

I really do think they should give Eric Allen Kramer (1988 OG Thor) a part in either Loki (as another universe's Thor) or a part in a Thor movie (in a cameo role similar to Lou Ferrigno's role in the MCU Hulk movie).

It would just be a nice nod and a tiny bit of dumb fan service.

Ill never forget how hot it was when Thor answered the door in the morning wearing nothing but a towel holding a blender jar full of beer.

I am a HUGE fan of the 79s HULK series.  I remember when the 3 TV reunion movies came out, and was somewhat disappointed in all three.  The reunions were always at a disadvantage because the series was not about "super-heroics."  Supposedly Stan Lee had pushed for more robots and fighting for the 70s series, but Producer Kenneth Johnson had a different view and didn't follow Stan's advice.

I think the lack of Kenneth Johnson, as well as a stronger connection with the 70s series (and a woefully lacking budget) were all points against the reunion films.  McGee being absent from the last one - "The Death if the Incredible Hulk" was especially frustrating.   He really should have been involved with the last "episode."

It was so much better than the other Marvel stuff from the time. The sadness of having to leave every place he made a home made it feel deeper than the usual fare.

That generates Wilhelm Screams...

I always hated how that series ended with the death of the Hulk. Like many televisions shows, they planned another Hulk movie, but never got around to it. Television shows should stop making cliffhanger episodes/movies.

Better or worse than Daredevil's appearance in Trial of The Incredible Hulk?  You decide!
