Dark smoke, so they didn't elect a new owner.

Insurance scam !

What is that relic even used for today?

From THE wiki: In September 2019, Events DC officials announced plans to demolish the stadium due to maintenance costs.[6] In September 2020, the cost was estimated at $20 million.[7] As of May 2022, demolition is expected to begin in 2023 "at the earliest".

Someone didn't want to wait that long.

That's usually what gets set on fire for insurance fraud

ask an arson investigator.

That what you get when you accept a demolition bid that's 40% cheaper than the other contractors.

Eh, it was slated for demolition. They aren't going to rebuild it. And since the city owns it, I kinda highly doubt it's even insured. That's the kind of thing the local DC government would overlook. For years.

Whoa there.  Low Ball Construction is a legitimate business run by legitimate businessmen.  We would hate for there to be a misunderstanding which might lead to *unpleasantness*.

It's the signal!  If you are Q Anon, this means you are supposed to grab all your guns, head straight to the ocean, and swim out as far as you can with your guns and tac gear on.  You will be met by the secret submarines that will take you to attack the secret abortion mills in California and New York City.  Go run! There is no time to ask any questions!  Hurry!

It's also like 99% concrete, not a whole lot in there that could burn I'd suspect.  Honestly I hope this means they fast track the demolition.

Who named the stadium "Robert Farking Kennedy Stadium"?

I mean, how disrespectful is that?

They could have at least used his name rather than 'Farking'....

Bummer. An ash pile would look nicer than that stadium these days. I wonder how hot a fire has to get to burn concrete.

It's only out, because the secret Gay Gazpacho is trying to keep brave patriots from knowing it is time to swim out to the submarines.  If you are a patriot, don't let the Gay Gazpacho fool you.  Start paddling.

Spalling concrete would be the most exciting thing that's happened at RFK in a decade, at least.

RFK is burning down, burning down, burning down
RKF is burning down
Fark United
Sung to the tune of London Bridge is Falling Down.
The second level would bounce if enough people jumped on it at the same time. Was there for a few Union vs DC United games. Fun, sometimes dangerous times. Saw the biggest roach ever in a bathroom and the raccoons took the place over years ago.

I hereby demand that I be given a Fark account: Demetrius: Washington Commanders elected a new owner?

Dark smoke, so they didn't elect a new owner.

We'd also see demons shooting upwards with very loud screeching noises when a new owner is crowned.

Our old city museum burned to the ground just days after they moved the entire collection into the new building.
