Uh, people know that's a lot cheaper and not that much work to bring lunches to work everyday, right?

For my fellow USAians, check out reviews of South Korean 7-11s. One can get actual nutritious food there. It puts ours here to shame.

On Sunday afternoon, I bake up a flat of chicken thighs.  During the week I have a thigh, a glop of hummus and some veggies.  Delicious, easy, cheap, fast and healthy-ish.  What more could you ask for?

The fark goes to a convenience store to save money? You could do the ultimate lazy and grab a pile of frozen dinners and stuff at the grocery store, still be making the idiot move, and come out ahead over grabbing your lunch at the gas station.

/In so many more ways than one.

For the love of God, make your own lunch and save money.

It is, but there's not much meat prep involved in making a sandwich or two. Sliced anything is intended for this purpose and priced to move. Good for anyone who can, but I don't look at my lunch as a gourmet affair. That is the one meal of the day I can almost purely look at as fuel.

Meal. Still works, but my god I can't spell. I should buy a helmet.

Home office. Before all this inflation I had a tuna sandwich, salad, a chunk of cheese, and a yogurt every day for lunch. Cost was about $4.25. Now I have the same thing, and the cost is about $3.90 because the dollar store started carrying those premade tuna packets on different flavors.

I do not know why I am sharing this.

Id buy whatever sliced meat and cheese was on sale at the deli, a loaf of sheepherders bread, mayo and good mustard, and usingvthe breakroom toaster oven, would create the most beautiful toasty, melty sandwiches for maybe 20 bucks a week...

Some of you have never worked in a place that didn't offer fridges, microwaves, or other "bringing your lunch" appliances for their employees and it shows. Or worked a job where you spend most of your time in a truck or car. And it shows.

Your truck or car doesn't have a microwave, fridge, blender, toaster, and minibar?
