In my military days, I saw this a lot. More isn't better, and you still have to do the work. A lot of guys would just increase their dosages or fark with their cycle to make up for not putting in the reps. And you can't power through being hurt. Not for long anyway.

In Nick's case I don't think it's roids. Dude has some legitimate mental health issues. I think he's talked about them publicly in the past. I've watched a few of his matches the last week. He just seems like he's always angry and has a bad case of ODD.

Is every ADD med banned? I mean, I'm sure they probably are. But I'm as ADD as you can be (99th percentile lab monkey) and I'm not a partner beater.

ODD. Different from ADD.

Ah, sorry, mobile. As a former mental health professional and current crazy person, ODD has to be the pits. I'm not above farking myself over to prove a non existent point or anything, but I'm glad I don't need to fuss at that level.

Nick Kyrgios details mental health and drug struggles

The article is from February of this year and he claims in it that he has "completely turned myself around". However, if his behavior at Wimbledon is any indication, he may be having a relapse.

how many times has he said that now? 30, maybe 40? I know he has legit and serious problems, and it's good if he's genuinely trying to get better, but he needs to cut the BS about being completely recovered.

Well as I'm typing this his Wimbledon match is going to start in about 45 minutes so we'll find out in a few hours if Kyrgios had a good mental health day or a bad one.

I didn't watch the match (he won), but I'm not convinced that a bad mental health day is necessarily bad for his play.

Well he's playing Rafael Nadal next. And he can cause anyone to have a bad mental health day - whether they're prone to it or not.
