Lefty or righty? Day or night? Home or away? They should track this stuff; it's important.

And was it above or below 75 degrees Fahrenheit?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Also, Carrot getting 4K then a walkoff HR is 100% on point for Caratini.

Sigh.

It's a walkoff HR, therefore, he was at home, you can't get a walkoff win as the visiting club since the home team will get one more set of at-bats.

As to the others? He's a switch-hitter so we can't tell if the pitcher is a southpaw or not, and as to "day or night" - it started at 3:15PM local so....mostly day? But it's in a dome so it doesn't matter anyway.

I'm just surprised that this happened four other times in the last 122 years.

Oh look. Another useless number is being trotted around like a prize winning stallion because finding a real writer who can write real articles costs too much money

The game also had an inside the park homer - I switched over to the Braves/Cards when this one went extra innings and missed Victor's HR.

The fact they have access to these types of statistics shows that most fans of baseball are accountants
