I remember having lunch on the McBarge as well.  It had been featured during Good Morning America's segment on Expo '86....so I begged my parents to take me to it during our visit.

In my defense, I was in first grade.

They actually did a neat update film where the current owner invited them to come check it out. Looks like they've got the whole thing gutted and are just trying to find an investor to help turn it into some sort of attraction.

Did you get the elusive IBM passport stamp? Had to catch an engineer fixing one of the state-of-the art touchscreen kiosks... which, to be fair, probably wasn't too hard... they needed servicing a fair bit. Was 14 at the time, and the guy I got explained it all in great detail, it was fascinating. No idea where that passport is now, ah well. Expo 86 was amazing, practically lived there for it's much of it's duration.

Aww damn, sorry 'eh. Had a lot of fun collecting those passport stamps though I hope?! :)
