A $105k to tell republicans to suck it on Fox news and all the time that will be spent talking about it and shown for free is worth it to Newsom. Now if Dem leadership illustrated similar actions things could get better.

OK, Gavin - you got a university administrator position open that you're dying to fill?  That can pay me market rate?

San Diego plays the part of Colorado Springs in California. Santa Barbara is close to the same feeling.

This really just plays into the Republican plan of scaring/forcing Democrats out of red states (of which the country has a majority of) and into blue states that are already under-represented in the country.

That being said, this also enforces the idea that the United States of America will eventually transition into a small number of coalitions based on political party ideology and demographics.

That affordable place outside the Bay Area is quite a distance at this point.  Lots of people were driven out to those areas, lots of development happened over the years, and now those outlying areas are also not as cheap any longer.  Many people commute stupid distances these days.

Who said anything about nominating a Repubitard from Florida?

I'm sure Kusinich was a great mayor as he helmed Cleveland into bankruptcy, but I'm not daft enough to think the Democratic Party should put him at the forefront of the Party in 2024.

You can admit Gavin sucks without saying vote Republican. You want better Democrats, start by telling shiatbag Democrats like Newsom to sit the fark down and shut the hell up ... exactly what we should've done with Clinton in 2015.

Methinks this is a clever ploy to try and bring Disney from Florida back to California, which I don't get because there's not a lot of land here in Cali to build something akin to Disney World except that huge swath of desert next to Palm Springs where they've bought a bunch of it up and are building residential communities like they have outside of Orlando

wait...

Regardless, I'm gonna show this ad to my aunt in Florida to see if she can finally bite the bullet and move here to Cali.
