If All Star will go as far as Munith, I'll keep them in mind. We've done real well by Bramlett, but Gregory, Michigan, is red as Fark and Bramlett, as a Gregory institution, might not be as aligned with us as we'd hope.

Sadly, places that rarely needed Air Conditioning are going to need it to stay survivable. Which will only add to greenhouse gases through power generation, refrigerant gas releases, and costs that normal people can't afford

Felt cute. Might hang up.

Is it really proper for a business to be taking such a political stand?  I mean what do they know about such things.  They should stick to fixing AC units and leave the politicing to others.

And really, THAT'S the important point here.

Seriously, there's probably a "Let's Go Brandon HVAC" operation somewhere in America right now. Not any different from "Christian Brothers Plumbing."

A good assessment of Murca right now.

Just try to find a truck with a flag but without maga/gun crap...

Or a Humvee with a coexist sticker...
Or LGB with a 🌈  flag...

You haven't seen political HVAC repairmen until you've seen them on YouTube. "Those darn Commie capacitors are always failing in those Carrier 5 ton systems."

The last sentence makes it feel a bit too much like marketing. Would probably still hire them, were i in the area.

I suppose it's a political stand if you say: our gummint policies are wrong and the government should not work this way because some people are hurting from these policies. And then it's also political when other people say: well we like to hurt those people because reasons.

But also their ad is not wrong.

Right

One advertisement uses the tragic events unfolding to sell air conditioners. It's tacky, like politicians asking for money 2 minutes after the roe decision.

The other empathizes with all the problems going on, and doesn't shill their air conditioners right after. You still see their business name and understand what they sell. It's still an advertisement, but it's done much better.

For msrbley &Summoner101:

/s means sarcasm. It's a play on using html tags to indicate sarcasm. /s is the shorthand, butBizarreManwent with the archaic form of a full html tag (<s> before, </s> after). It indicates he's a Farker of the old way.

My mechanic is just down the road from Christian Brothers Automotive.

He says he ends up with a lot of their customers, who're usually pretty angry after they've been cheated.

You say that in jest but I was actually in the Lansing area this past week and there where plenty of business, mostly in the trades, with Trump 2020 and 2024 flags and Impeach Biden signs in plain view.
