Now let's see if the money translates into votes.  And let's see if she can get voters to the polls to start with.  Kemp has had two years to suppress any voters for her.

Explainer: Big changes under Georgia's new election law

WASHINGTON, June 14 (Reuters) - Georgia Governor Brian Kemp this year signed into law sweeping voting restrictions sponsored by Republicans, with potentially big implications for how elections are administered in the battleground state in 2022, and the U.S. presidential contest of 2024.

Proponents say the legislation is needed to safeguard elections and restore voters' faith in the process. Opponents say it was born out of the Republican Party's "Big Lie," the false claim that Democrat Joe Biden's defeat of incumbent President Donald Trump in November was the result of widespread fraud.

".. Chip Lake, a veteran Georgia GOP consultant. "Look, he [Kemp] doesn't have to outspend Stacey Abrams,.. "

Of course he doesn't -- he doesn't even need to get more votes than her to win.

They made sure of that in 2021 when Georgia diluted the power of the Secretary of State to declare elections final, in favor of the state legislature, which is gerrymandered in favor of state Republicans.

We'll at some point even that will fail if more and more people move left, I think that will hit a point where numbers will fail them but that can take a long time.

Walker is going to be a drag for them in Georgia and for a few reasons.

The number I'd like to see answered is how many have been turned off by the insurrection and will no longer either show up or vote republican?  I know there are loyalists especially in Georgia, but how many are disaffected?

the power is, who can repeat their message the most. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.

there is no influence from what the message is, no influence from the quality or integrity of the message.
Just the loudest/most repeated message is the one the most other people will believe/buy into/also repeat.

There is no concern with what your message is, OR WHY YOU ARE SAYING WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. The mechanics of us  is only that yours' was the one that got heard the most / was the most REPEATED by others.

Say that repeating part again slowly and consider it. A generic power that is unrelated to who says a message or why. the power is gained for that message if it is being repeated. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

So even if i repeat a message, one that i find is stupid and terrible/ignorant/hateful, whatever it don't matter.
In the equation of, what message is winning/having the most influence? The only variable is one measurement, how many times was the message repeated?
As literally words of their own context, not within any other context including to shame it/put it down/laugh at it/denounce it.
A "message" about anti-X, that includes the actual specific message of what it is Anti. the exact and same message of what X says in their message. This is a count increase for the X messaging being repeated.
You may increase your message count, but we do intrinsically, without any possible avoidance, also increase the X message spread/count increase too.

We are only ever helping spread the X message we want to be against by repeating it in any form to anyone else ever no matter what other context we try to frame it under.

The power to fight that kind of situation is marginalization. It is the only power.
You do not spread the message, you simply do not point the camera at whoever and ignore them.

Check the real world history. Ask any people of color about the power of marginalization.
It is the power of, you are here, we are not denying you a right through this action, The news crews simply do not show us your plight, do not ask you how you feel about what goes on, do not show you when you are suffering. DO not show you when you are being a human any one else would immeditly empathize with and only show you when you are an example of behavior people, anyone may fear.No laws did that, just the cultural norms and free markets freely choosing what their for profit services pointed the camera at/what hit the edit room floor. No laws prevent that, none do to this  day. We've just gotten ever so slightly better, in a depends on where you are kind of way (local news is still highly curved along this aspect). The power of marginalization is real, going on where, and is just a question of who/what it's being directed at by the culture.

To remove the racist from power, remove their voice from the public realm same normal LEGAL way as ever. Marginalization, just act as if their thoughts and opinions are unworthy of news or conversation, or joke material or anything else that would ultimately wind up repeating their messages for them in any way.
Thy can vote all they want, but if the tvs and billboards and such are missing their voice, then their "concerns" are not being reported on the large stage political news and the politicians don't need to "address" what racist jack are on about.

Back in time no powerful politicians cared what the black vote cared about even thought they did have a vote.
The "black vote" and their topics of interest/POV were not a 5-o clock tv national news topic. That's what marginalization is.
Today  that is news and is a topic and so too is something politicians are force to at least put in some lip service time to when speaking. Now it is there equally in the pile wiht all the rest of murica given lip in pursuit of self enrichment.

But so too is racist jack rag's "concerns" and that chit needs to end fook now.
The marginalization is still here and need some serious, conscientious cultural redirection applied to it.

Ugh, I despise Star Trek: Discovery. Every season is a war, a crisis, or a bunch of minor characters you don't see their lives much beyond the bridge. Show is missing character development, ignores Star Trek characterization of species and timelines (when did Klingons develop cloaking technology before the Romulans, and when did Klingons start acting like Arab terrorists by using a cloaked Bird of Prey to suicide bomb a Federation Starbase from within using a warp core breach, etc?), and completely disregards previous writers use of the show's bible.

Star Trek: Lower Decks and to some degree Star Trek: Prodigy gets the idea of Star Trek better than the two new live action ones (that and Picard).

It's actually a much better book than one would think. The central vampire premise is that vampires are being hunted out of existence in Europe, but then they realize that America is a place where you can actually buy humans, and no one cares if those humans go "missing". So basically southern slave plantations are really just fronts for vampire buffets.

Walker will be a drag for Walker, but it's still neck and neck between Abrams and Kemp.

I suspect a small handful of conservatives in metro Atlanta will still vote for Kemp, but will not vote for the Senate race. That way, they keep their "dignity". It's better for them to biatch about Warnock out in DC than biatch about Abrams in their backyard.

I think that if Fulton County can get "inspired", if they can get a solid, above average turnout, they can tilt it in Abrams' favor.

She's a way above average Democratic gubernatorial candidate in any state.
