The little boy in that movie, Bobby Driscoll, was also the voice of Peter Pan.  He had one of the most tragic "child actor gets tossed aside" stories.  Which was why it was a little farked up when they made a grown-up Pan the villain of that Rescue Rangers movie.

It won't take long for them to mock this.

They aren't as forward as South Park, but they are pretty good at mocking shiat like this. They've taken several shots at Disney before they were Disney, they will work in some subtle shots that "people" reviewing will miss or allow.

Be fair, the Donald Duck as a Nazi one was a propaganda piece showing how terrible Nazi Germany was, in order to increase support for the war. And at least in this case, the propaganda wasn't off the mark.

Goofy was a family man for decades. I guess the old Goofy shorts don't get much play these days. He even had a different family in the 90s. Disney made a tv series, a couple of movies, and a video game about it

Driscoll?  No, he died of a drug overdose in a run-down East Village apartment.  He had no  money, so they buried him in one of the mass graves on Hart's Island.

Titled "The Simpsons in Plusaversary," the self-aware film shows Disney's iconic characters like Tinker Bell, Cinderella, and Daffy Duck populating Moe's Tavern.

Is that a typo or is there another merger in the works?

Sorcerer's Apprentice would top most people's lists of favorite Mickey cartoons. My personal favorite was always Lonesome Ghosts, but I also liked the crazy one that inspired the Mickey's Philharmagic attraction, where he's trying to lead a misfit orchestra that gets sucked up into a tornado. And the one where he goes on vacation with Donald and Goofy with a gadget-laden camper trailer. A lot of the old Mickey Mouse cartoons still hold up, but they wouldn't be childhood favorites unless you had the Disney Channel and grew up back when it still used to regularly show them.

Kids who grew up in the 2000s would probably remember episodes of The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or House of Mouse more than any of the classic cartoons, and might not know Bugs Bunny at all. Saturday morning cartoons haven't been a thing for years, and Boomerang wasn't part of our cable package, so back when I wanted to introduce Bugs to my son, I had to go find some DVDs. He thought the cartoons were okay, but the character didn't really grab his attention. Bugs was too sedate compared to the total insanity of Gumball and Teen Titans Go.

Might as well face it. We only care about Mickey and/or Bugs because we're old. We might as well be comparing Howdy Doody and Captain Midnight. Today's kids don't care that much about either unless their parents made them grow up watching them.
