That theater room is the sort of thing that only a massive nerd would build. I wholly approve.

The stained glass Disney doorways are hideous though and should be replaced immediately.

It's got a themed entertainment room and kids' bedroom. The rest of the house is fine. Wouldn't live in Orlando, though.

Over $90K in property tax and HOA fees. What does it go up to after the Desantis and Disney war is over? Never mind. If you can afford $15M for the house, that's pocket change.

At the bottom of the listing, property tax is a little over $13,000 per month.  So it's around $160,000 per year.  Tack on the HOA fees and other costs and this house costs more to maintain than some 96% of Americans male net in a year.  I am also willing to bet the owner has annual Disney top tier passes for all parks for the family.
This is another glaring reminder why we need to move everyone onto the same wage income tax brackets regardless of income.
And as someone above pointed out this is likely their vacation home they use only on school vacation weeks.  But remember, we can't afford portable pensions or single payer health care.
So tax cuts?

Fireplaces and a outdoor fire pit. In Orlando. Since the outdoor areas lack the usual screened in area I see all over Central Florida, I'm guessing it comes with an automatic DEET dispenser or a fleet of mosquito hunting drones.

Heh, funny you should say that... a few years ago I needed cheap wheels & bought a used Honda Osyssey off of Craigslst. Really beat up (not quite "free candy" but close) and at some point a previous owner had put a Jesus fish on there and when they pulled it off it took some paint off and it was touched-up with those little tubes of car paint you can buy.

So I had a fish-shaped weird touch-up thing on the tailgate and said "fark it" and put this in the same spot to cover it up:

After I put it on the car, on two separate occasions, I had Jehovah's Witnesses apporach me at gas stations & give me literature as I was filling up. I kinda miss that car. It was a trooper.

In 4 years the house just magically gained 10 Million in value????
I understand real-estate usually trends upwards but I don't see anything that would justify that jump.
If anything I see reasons why the house would be under the 2018 estimate of 5 mill.

1. Florida
2. Surrounded by White Privilege Rapists
3. Hurricanes hate Florida
4. MAGA supporters
5. HOA - Not gonna spend millions to have an old entitled cryptkeeper telling me what I can and can't do to my house.
6. Republicans
7. Floridaman
8. Americans in general
9. Gators
10. Giant spiders
11. White Republicans
12. Trump Supporters

After looking at the cons of living there I'd be more willing to spend $15 mill in Somali, probably be safer than I would be with the people in that area.

Some of it is quite nice: doors, staircase, etc. But it's a ridiculous price and bland as heck. They call it Mediterranean. Have these people ever been there? There are colors everywhere. Green, red, pink, yellow - monotone is not, in my experience, typical.

I dunno if they did something different because it was in a bathroom (who even puts wallpaper in a bathroom?!), but it was like this stuff was stuccoed on there.

Boyfriend is about to re-do the second bathroom in our house... total gut job. He's only waiting until our deadbeat roomate moves out to pull the trigger.

I've read that having at least one bath tub make the house more desirable for re-selling (families with small children want a tub to bathe toddlers), but I'm thinking "screw it, we ain't selling anytime soon" and replacing the tub with a shower-only set-up.

I actually like the subway tiles look, but I'm afraid it's too overdone now & will look dated a couple years down the road.

The weirdest part is that the house was designed for all of the TVs to be hung so high up that you have to tilt your head back to view them. That's incredibly uncomfortable. And it makes it look like a hotel.

In the grand scheme of accomodating the most people, up is better than down. Nothing more annoying than catching lamp glare. Especially if you have reclining seats, it is better than staring down your nose and cheeks.
