As dumb as Carol Danvers being magically impregnated by her kidnapper, giving birth to said kidnapper for him to exist in her reality and being brainwashed to run off with him when he "grew up" in the course of just a dozen pages for this story? Which is the one story Jim Shooter denies he had anything do with its existence?

I've been plowing through Jay and Miles Explain the X-Men starting with #1. Very satisfying for an old X-Nerd like me.

Shooter is about as carny as it gets. Any chance to take credit for something or blame someone else for something, he'll take it.

You'd be pro-choice too if you'd squirted in every corner of the city.

Spider-Man is not alliterative.

Peter Parker is not his hero name.

Neither is Miles Morales, although everyone just calls him that.  His actual hero name is still Spider-Man.

Spider-Man has radioactive cum, so it is probably best to not take a pregnancy to term.
