Didn't he have a serious medical condition a few years ago? Seems like he had brain surgery or something some time ago.

I think they had a failed attempt to surgically remove his bandana a few years ago. That might be it.

He's a pretty bad diabetic. It probably had something to do with that.

As opposed to being hospitalized after the show?

He has had juvenile diabetes most of his life. Which is like adult onset x10. My son has had it since age 4. He is 32 now. He has taken excellent care of himself and kept his blood sugar at near perfect. But all it takes is over working and get dehydrated and he can end up in the emergency room near critical before you know it. Throwing up because of the flu etc takes on a whole new meaning when you have juvenile diabetes. Ketones arrive blood gasses mess up and before you know it you are DKA which can lead to DOA

Fun fact, you can get 'juvenile' diabetes as an adult! One day your pancreas turns to your immune system and says 'Hey, how's it going', and your immune system says 'That's my purse I don't know you' and goes full spider monkey on your pancreas.

Ask me how I know.

Look at me! I don't like the thing! I am better than you for it!

Poison had a couple good songs. Their best lineup was when they had Ritchie Kotzen (who should be a household name based on his playing and singing skills) on guitar. But Ritchie banged the drummer of bass player's girlfriend so he got kicked out. CC Deville is kind of a joke.

I was just listening to that album this week.  If they had stayed in that direction, they might have had a second "adult contemporary" career like Bon jovi.  Instead I think they only did one original album after that and cruised on pure nostalgia tours after that.  Those Kotzen songs were amazing and he's still doing awesome in Winery Dogs with Billy Sheehan.

The band was scheduled to perform with Def Leppard, Motley Crüe and Joan Jett

They should have MASH unit following them on tour.

im amused that music that started when i was in middle school and lasted until i could make fun of it in college for being juvenile and silly (because of how worldly i had become in like 3 years) is now being played in borderline geriatric package tours.

its almost as amusing when i started hearing the cars on classic rock radio.

Actually prefer some of his solo stuff to the Dogs.

The whole thing was 7 hours - 4:30 to 11:30. Stadium almost completely packed. We got some rain and lightning near the end during Def Leppard, but they just kept going. It was a pure nostalgia injection. I felt like Motley Crue was the weak link musically but they had a lot of energy and it was great hearing the hits from all the bands.

Aren't you a Deadhead? Your taste in music is already invalid.

No, buying acid from a guy in a parking lot in the hopes of screwing a Buckwheat headlocker doesn't make you worldly.

Edgelord misses the point? It's more likely than you think...
