I might not catch too many of these launches, but they never get old when I'm watching another one live.

Holy carp, we're still using the Atlas V?   The rocket that totally relies on the Russian Energomash RD-180 main engine?

I guess we will owe Putin some thanks once it launches.

We're using up the ones we have in stock.  There's not that many left.

This is why ULA is itching to get the Vulcan booster tested, approved, and certified - and why Blue Origin's delays of their BE-4 engine is a big deal.

I posted a link to the attempt today that was successful, but it was only
minutes before launch. It got up there!
