"Debate is an essential part of our university's academic and educational mission," it said in a statement addressed to "the George Washington University Community."

It's strange that we never see this absolute and uncritical devotion to debate or to free and open expression except as an excuse to do absolutely nothing and retain the status quo despite an empowered individual's heinous actions.

They see where the power will be for a long time in the future. What could happen to them ? The Dem leaders singing on their steps.

And if many students cancel their tuition because of this, are they going to demand that tuition on 'first amendment' grounds?

Universities are leftist indoctrination centers except for when they're packing congress and the courts with far right wing ideologues.

This isn't surprising anyone in reality is it? A law school that makes lawyers doing something morally ambitious and ethical suspect. Like. That is a lawyer. This school makes lawyers.

Where is the confusion/surprise?

George Washington University will not cancel German Fuhrer Adolf Hitler's unconstitutional law class or fire him, despite backlash, the university announced on Tuesday.

"White Debate is an essential part of our university's academic and educational mission," it said in a statement addressed to "the George Washington University Community." GWU has "received requests from some members of the university" and others that they fire Hitler, an adjunct professor who teaches a unconstitutional law seminar, the statement said.
"No matter how abhorrent their views may be, we cannot and will take any kind of stand that would jeopardize our reputation in the eyes of the current supreme court. Under his eye." The university's response came hours after reports surfaced that a student had complained about Hitler's genocide, which resulted in the deaths of over 16 million people, including six million Jews. The student told the student newspaper, The Hatchet, that Hitler has a "right to his opinion," but said the university should not give him a platform to espouse his views. The university also said it will not cancel Hitler's class, which is scheduled to start next week. "The course is not about Adolf Hitler or the Holocaust," the statement said. "It is about the Constitution and how it can be perverted to do all the crazy sh*t we've been trying to do since the War of Northern Aggression." The university said it is "committed to creating a learning environment that is respectful and welcoming to all white people." It also said it is "deeply committed to fostering a community that is inclusive and tolerant of white perspectives."
