Well, that's just fun.
Grew up 60s/70s with a Mom who brought home boxes of comics(many with the top1/3 of the cover missing) from garage sales including 80/100 page giants of reprints.
So the synopsis rings a bell and I head to http://www.mikesamazingworld.com/mikes/features/newsstand.php?type=calendar&month=6&year=1971&publisher=dc&sort=alpha&checklist=null&variantex=null&collectionex=null
and look around.

Still my all-time favorite Flash:

It's amazing this show and Superman are on the same network and in the same "universe" because it's really apples and oranges in terms of quality

Actually, a line that General Lane spoke in last night's Superman & Lois Season №2 finale implies that it's not set in the Arrowverse on its post-Crisis merged Earth-Prime. Yet other things from the series indicated that it was.

Right.  They said Superman was Earths only hero.
Yet John Henry escaped Crisis.

But it's clearly related.  It's the same actors.  It's CW.  Obviously it's all connected.  We just don't know yet.

Anyway, it's good.

Flash is bad.

The only thing that might make sense is that Superman & Lois is set a decade or so in the future compared to shows like The Flash or Supergirl (I miss that!) or Black Lightning (I really miss that!), etc. Something in the epilogue of the Crisis implied that: the Kents had one kid in the previous continuity, and the merging of the Earths replaced the one kid with twins who were apparently still young kids.

That'd mean, though, that something bad happened to the other heroes in the interim. At the very least, Supergirl deciding to move to New Krypton, Jon moving back to Mars, who knows what happening to the Pierce daughters, etc. The last few episodes of Superman & Lois were a world-endangering threat that should've brought out every hero on the planet ― heck, villains, too.

So... Iris only lived because Damien Darhk's deathstone saved her.. a pleasant surprise, seeing him.  One of my favorite villains/antiheroes.

Barry was all in for bloody vengeance until she did make it out to him.  He and Thawn enabled Super God Mode to fight each other with.  It's a little unclear how Thawn lost.  I guess his supernova of certain death, ripping the city apart, took too much power, and it reversed time back into him.

Cecile got the positive forces out.. it was their influence making her stronger.  That strength is mostly gone now, save that she seems to be a telekinetic now.

Mostly happy endings, for now.  Good Eobard is still dead, it seems.  They almost forgot to get back to Caitlin.. something went wrong, and Chilblains did not recognize her when he opened the chamber.  It still sounded like her voice.
