I'd love it if protesters rolled up to the Supreme Court blaring Joan Jett's "You Don't Own Me" over loudspeakers.

Or Clarence's house.

Having an instructor for a law school that either is incapable of understanding basic tenets of the law or openly violates  legal ethics should not prevent removal because free speech.

From the little I understand, there are literally no safety measures built into the SC appointments. It totally depended on good faith jurists to act in an ethical manner. All it took was an unethical political party to appoint, well, liars to be blunt. Now America is paying for it.

"Because we steadfastly support the robust exchange of ideas and deliberation, and because debate is an essential part of our university's academic and educational mission."

You know, the Nazis had ideas too. The same ideas. Did we defeat them with debate, or did we f*ck their sh*t up?

The ruling didn't happen because Thomas moved to the right.  The ruling happened because the center of gravity of the court moved towards him.

We need to be nuking the enemy.  Russia and maga.  No mercy.  If they surrender they need to be castrated and put in the mines to grind resources for us until they die.

Think of how easy the final exam would be, though...

Question #1: Describe your interpretation of Amendment #1
Answer: Whatever the Federalist Society wants it to be.

Questions #2: What is the free exercise clause?
Answer: You are free to practice any branch of Conservative Catholicism or Evangelical Christianity you choose.

Question #3: What is the 13th amendment?
Answer: A poorly thought out property grab that violated states rights.

I had the pleasure of having Gorsuch for legal ethics in law school. He was nice and smart, actually. He liked to repeat a line about not being a void surrounded by a sphincter. Gave no indication that he himself intended to become a void surrounded by a sphincter.

I actually had a class immediately after this class, so Justice Thomas walked behind me while I was sitting down once.  He's shorter than I was expecting.

And Congress desperately prayed for a later generation to have to deal with this. And now it's too late.

There are some privileged, lazy f*cks who run this country.

Seize the moment to rule with your wallet. Take the funds and students away. Or let it rot into a putrid bog of rampant stupidity until they overwhelm and consume the faculty. Then bomb the fark out of it, take a shiat on it, and bomb the fark out it again.

fark Clarence Thomas.

"Because we steadfastly support the robust exchange of ideas and deliberation, and because debate is an essential part of our university's academic and educational mission to train future leaders who are prepared to address the world's most urgent problems, the university will neither terminate Justices Thomas' employment nor cancel his class in response to his legal opinions," the school wrote in an email to students.

Yeah, EABOD, shiatheels!  The last thing we need are fascist shiatwads in those positions.  "We're not going to fire Hitler, cuz robust exchange of ideas!"  Fark you!

How much did you have to pay for that class?

Cause I think you got ripped off.

Clearly, but he presented well. Hopefully shiatbags like Gorsuch and Thomas don't get let anywhere near law students going forward.

Sadly, there are quite a few Lawful Stupid Paladins in academia.

Sure we actively helped the Nazis seize power by not acting against them when it was still possible, and now they're rounding us up to be fuel in the murder camps, but the important thing is we respected their rights along the way so we have the highest of moral ground.

Nah. They're consistent.

Is the subject complaining their rights on the far right evangelical part of the spectrum? Then their rights are being violated.  Else the constitution was never intended to protect whatever they say is being violated.

Nazi Germany 1930s all over again. It's like a verbatim copy, right down to the liberals crying about the rights the Nazis have.

Oh and then... just VOTE.

George Washington University will not cancel German Fuhrer Adolf Hitler's unconstitutional law class or fire him, despite backlash, the university announced on Tuesday.

"White Debate is an essential part of our university's academic and educational mission," it said in a statement addressed to "the George Washington University Community." GWU has "received requests from some members of the university" and others that they fire Hitler, an adjunct professor who teaches a unconstitutional law seminar, the statement said.
"No matter how abhorrent their views may be, we cannot and will take any kind of stand that would jeopardize our reputation in the eyes of the current supreme court. Under his eye." The university's response came hours after reports surfaced that a student had complained about Hitler's genocide, which resulted in the deaths of over 16 million people, including six million Jews. The student told the student newspaper, The Hatchet, that Hitler has a "right to his opinion," but said the university should not give him a platform to espouse his views. The university also said it will not cancel Hitler's class, which is scheduled to start next week. "The course is not about Adolf Hitler or the Holocaust," the statement said. "It is about the Constitution and how it can be perverted to do all the crazy sh*t we've been trying to do since the War of Northern Aggression." The university said it is "committed to creating a learning environment that is respectful and welcoming to all white people." It also said it is "deeply committed to fostering a community that is inclusive and tolerant of white perspectives."

You may not agree with his opinion but remove him just because his opinion doesn't agree with theirs?
