Are we talking CCM air knit with a fight strap yesteryear, or the current Adidas stuff?

The terms of the deal align with the existing e-commerce and licensing partnership between the NHL and Fanatics...

Can't wait until these new jerseys become unraveled faster than the Habs in the last calendar year.

Can I get a vintage Kraken jersey please.

Or just keep an eye on ebay for jerseys. As long as you can identify those trash-Chinese jerseys, you're good to go.

I'd pay good money for a wool Barilko sweater.

There's decent knockoff Chinese jerseys out there.  Just got to know where to order from.  Considering the prices of legitimate jerseys, I'm perfectly happy buying knockoffs for <25% of the price

Always keep an eye on sites like Mercari. I got a CCM blank Rangers jersey there, barely worn, for 12$.

ctrl+f "jersey" 1 match

"The new collection under this partnership is set to launch in November and will feature a wide variety of street fashion apparel and lifestyle products, including fan jerseys, outerwear, fleece, headwear, tops, and bottoms"

if that means replica player jerseys or ones you put your own name on or something i don't know

"fan jerseys" mean weirdo shiat, not what anyone ever wore on the ice

fanatics themselves will still be the only ones making retro NHL jerseys, and they suck shiat in terms of quality. there's a reason why CCM jerseys still sell for big money on ebay

i figured it meant useless crap. but it says fanatics bought M&N so it's all fanatics either way

i don't know about hockey but i know baseball jerseys and yeah quality varies greatly from SGA ones and super cheapo dhgate garbage to the game used ones the teams auction off.  most are meh at best but 95% of people don't care and can barely tell the difference

oh god baseball jerseys are the worst now. the Nike authentics cost like $400. and the replicas are all screen printed crap

I mostly buy soccer jerseys now anyway, the racket there is that they make new ones every year

Got an email from MLS yesterday, now they have PRE-MATCH jerseys

1. So that Teemu Selanne original eggplant color Mighty Ducks jersey is going to cost me $300 or more. Called up teams two years ago for jerseys I was curious about. Ducks wanted that much. Phoned elsewhere.

NY Islanders Fisherman jersey, $225; from their store, but I later settled on a $90 Fanatics Vintage of it on sale this year. Not a fan of NYI so I didn't care, but did piss me off it didn't have customization options for its funky lettering (Looks up Fisherman-era rosters -- Hm, fans here have fond memories of Ziggy Palffy playing for the local squad ...).

2. Noticed NHL teams tend to only allow for current roster guys on customization unless it is a vintage jersey. Kind of blows if you say want a certain yesteryear star (I tend to collect goalie stuff) or favorite player on a jersey that hasn't changed in decades. More so if you're XXL-size bloke.

i have a bunch of game used ones, but i look for 'team issued' ones the teams auction off, especially when it comes to bigger names that might go into the $1000s for game used.  got a jose ramirez one for like $300, triston mckenzie one for like $200.  sometimes they go crazy but depends on how many people are bidding and just wait to see what else comes along.  and they are authenticated so i can resell them for something if i need to rather than the $20 someone might pay for my used laundry

only problem is is it only comes in one size - whatever the player wears. mckenzie is like 150lbs so it's a 42 or 44, the carrasco mets one i just got is a 52.  46 is my size, so i'm either swimming or wearing it open.  most guys seem to be 46 or 48 though

DON'T MEAN DICK UNTIL I CAN GET ME A MIROSLAV SATAN NJ DEVILS SWEATER AND YES I WILL DIE MAD ABOUT IT.

// already got my Ovechkin replica
// probably a Chinese knockoff, but it's got a fight strap, hasn't fallen apart in 12 years, and cost me $80 (real ones were 3x that)

This far in and nobody's mention the Whalers or Nordiques?  I am disappoint.

Although 80s Canucks jerseys do have a kind of beautiful disaster thing going on I find kinda cool.

Still own and fit into a Hartford Whalers "authentic" CCM jersey I bought in the mid 1990s -- for $40, off some Canadian bike shop that advertised in The Hockey News newspapers of the time. Plan on putting J.S. Giguere's name on it -- he was the last Hartford Whalers player in the league, and a great goalie for the Ducks (Conn Smythe as 2003 Finals loser, hey). Got props for it in a run-in with long-retired Marty McSorley while wearing it.

Got a Devils jersey for $50-$60 from that outfit too. Now if I only had some old copies of The Hockey News to see if that seller still exists (I'm betting no, but surprises happen).

Also since you mentioned the Canucks, bought the infamous "V" jersey at a California hockey supply store for $35 in the late 2000s. Gave to a friend who liked Vancouver in the Bure days. Hindsight, I should've bought the Buffaslug or angry Buffalo on that rack too.

Because of COVID, the Kings were offering tickets and attire for dirt cheap after discounts last offseason. Got an "authentic" Adidas black jersey and tickets a few rows behind Jon Quick for a Ducks game. OT loss for LA after an intense third period comeback.

/Kings just got a huge plus for landing Minnesota's Kevin Fiala today, in exchange for a prospect unwilling to sign with them (D Brock Faber, Team USA/Minnesota Gophers player) and the 19th pick.
