I've been feeling the itch to start collecting Magic again (never was any good at the game, just like the art and lore), looks like it's time to dive back in.

Like anyone who plays Magic will ever need an abortion clinic.

Witches, sorceress, dryads, lady cat warriors, ogresses, dragon queens et all should have the right to cast counterspell on their uterus.

I would totally have a freaky half undead baby with Lillianna

Hasbro shouldn't have an opinion on abortion. Disney shouldn't care about homosexuals. Chick-Fil-A shouldn't care about Jesus.

Corporations aren't people. They can't vote. They don't have political or religious opinions. They just do business. Or at least that's how it should be.

The owner and board members and employees have opinions. They're welcome to express their opinions as private individuals who can vote.

My company made a half-hearted neutral statement about "respecting people's opinions" and that if you need health advice consult with our insurance provider.

If the SC says that Hobby Lobby can have religious beliefs, then Disney can support gay people. If we can't fight back against the fascists, at least we can use the rules they create against them.

Healthcare shouldn't be tied to employment. Unfortunately it is. Because of that, an employer's views on their workers' health issues, including those that have been politicised by right wing extremists, is both relevant and necessary.

Well, if you can wait until October, there are WH40K themed MTG Commander decks coming out.

I love the old watercolor images from the first sets, the new modern art styles look amazing don't get me wrong, but they don't have the same ambience.

Oh cool! I hope there's Tau. Other than that, I'm eyeing the Strixhaven, Forgotten Realms and the new cyberpunk sets.

Not a WH40K guy, but the names of the decks are:
Necron Dynasties
Forces of the Imperium
Tyranid Swarm
The Ruinous Powers

On the MTG sets, Strixhaven was a good set, Forgotten Realms has pretty much been forgotten (outside of a few cards), and the new "cyberpunk" set from Neon Dynasty is actually fairly decent. Pass on Baldur's Gate, it's mostly crap.

Aw, no Tau. But Necrons will do! I'd also love to get my hands on Shadows Over Innistrad and Kaladesh, but the booster box prices kinda made me wince.

You've got that backwards. The libertarian view would be that the owners can use the corporations to whatever ends they want.

All of the gay D&D players I know are constantly boning. Like, constantly. I don't know how they get through a single game.

They're like band geeks. Everyone thinks they're losers, but they're getting laid more than anyone else I know.

No, I think Libertarians should burn at the stake. Closest thing I can classify myself as is Social Democrat, but it's complicated.

Look unless a corporation comes out with anti gay or extremist views like ChickFilA or Hobby Lobby, i don't care. Guess Hasbro is remaining neutral on the issue. That is fine. If they say the support pro choice that is great. But a lack of response from a corporation on this is a non issue for me.

Sure, cheaper...
Looks at 5 color Commander deck worth like $14,000+...
Next to my Legacy deck worth like $8000...
Yup, MTG is a lot cheaper then 40k.

OK if you buy into Standard with a single deck, or just draft and sell the pulls it can be cheaper initially, but over time the upkeep cost of much MtG is higher.

Unfortunately the supreme Court decided that corporations are, in fact, sort of people.
