I thought we weren't calling it Monkeypox any more since no one can take a thing called Monkeypox seriously?

Nothing saying we can't get more than one pandemic happening at once.

So.  Do I ask the manager at Petco what kind of monkey I am to find the right dose of fish tank cleaner.  How do I get a light up my arse?

It probably will become a thing if all the anti-vaxxers treat this like they have, and continue to treat covid. So, yeah, it's on its way.

i can't wait for the monkeypox parties where they deliberately infect themselves to build "natural immunity"!

Those are already happening.  Thats how it is spreading, because the CDC doesnt want to kink shame people so farking horny they fark other people with pox sores.

I mean, the good thing is we both already have an old vaccine for it, and a relatively new one developed.

Part of the reason it's gaining a foothold is probably a combination of A) Waning immunity (not... many people get smallpox vaxxxes these days), and, yeah, it may have mutated.

We have it totally under control. One day, it's like a miracle, it will disappear.

I'm waiting for the Covpox virus to emerge. Sure, the virus that causes monkeypox is a double-stranded DNA virus while covid is an RNA virus and both are highly unlikely to produce a viable combination in event of a co-infection with both viruses but one can hope. We'd soon see 100% of people wearing masks.

They won't.

Congress is full of oldies that got the smallpox vaxx, which provides a 80% immunity to monkeypox
