That's pretty amazing.

Meanwhile a dog would have knocked over every single obstacle and then found some other items not even included in the original course to also knock down.

Someone should tell that to my cats, who can't seem to jump onto the couch without landing on my balls.

And yet, elevate those "obstacles" to a flat surface above the floor and they'll all be knocked off the surface and onto the floor.

And then would have become one of the best friends you've ever had and who would give their life for yours, while the cat wanders off without hesitation to find some small thing to kill.

You sound like someone whose balls are covered in peanut butter

And now you know that they did it on purpose.

I'd like to see the cats try this, in the dark, with legos scatter over carpet.

My cat would have just said "F*ck that" and plowed right on through.  I think.  I may have to run an experiment when I get home.

I mean ... sure. But also, their feet are tiny.

And we've all seen a cat being clumsy, which is why videos of a cat jumping at something and missing are so popular. They're normally so enviably graceful and flexible, when you see one falling down, it's notably amusing. Unlike dogs, who bumblefark all over the place and just don't care, because they're dogs.

Or ... they're aiming for your balls and land that shiat perfectly every time.

I dunno about that, Subby. I mean, when was the last time you saw a cat throw a fireball?

The best part of those videos is always the visibly embarrassed cat that just calmly walks away like that's what they meant to do the whole time.

You suppose that's an "accident".  Maybe for them, it's like walking barefoot in the wet sand for us.

I think they're to stupid to be malicious.

Oh no, don't do that.

They want you to underestimate them...

It's been 10 years and they still haven't figured out not to jump on the stove while im using it. I doubt I'm underestimating them.

I would guess that while cats, as a species, are naturally more graceful; that shiat is on a bell curve and some of them are on the far left side.

One of the most common things I say to my cat is, "I thought cats were supposed to be graceful."

I think he took the first people who would have him because he knew he is a clutz and wouldn't make it on the outside.

It's a good thing he's adorable.
