Why is this worthy of Congressional time? Because of the monopoly exception the NFL holds?

but the posters in the Politics tab assure me that you can refuse to testify before Congress.  They are never wrong.

I almost guarantee there is not a single NFL fan who likes him.  Besides, Washington fans loathe him the most.

A spokesperson for Snyder told ESPN on Monday, "Mr. Snyder has not refused to appear for a deposition. The Committee offered only one date -- June 30 -- and Mr. Snyder's attorney is out of the country and unavailable on that date. Mr. Snyder's lawyer has provided alternative dates to the Committee and looks forward to finding a path forward for Mr. Snyder's further cooperation and to address remaining due process concerns."

How does February 30th sound?

Because it should be the business of state politicians to investigate abuse of power when the local authorities can't or won't, but you know, DC has no state politicians.

As an Eagles fan, I have a compromise. Lock him up, throw away the key, but keep letting him make decisions for WFT.

From the side of the state that has five more Lombardis, no deal.  We want to see you play against a fully competent and less evilly owned Washington Commanders squad twice a season.  Don't worry, you can still have your guaranteed win against the Steelers when they come to Philly.

I'm a Commanders fan, so no.
