If all gun laws are eliminated I am getting an automatic grenade launcher and know a neighbor would be getting a mini gun and would start looking for anti aircraft system add a M2 for the jeep could really help in traffic.

What are laws?

They're not even as real as birds.

Birds aren't real. But I can see things that look like bids.

When's the last time anyone actually saw a law?

If you accept that birds are real, must you not also concede that the physical manifestation of a law typically involves a firearm of some sort.

Disagree with someone who has a gun and claims to speak for the law, and their ideology-fueled fantasies will become your reality, often at several hundred feet per second. (I do not recommend attempting to replicate this experiment. Let partisans run it for you and just record the results.)

Mao wasn't thinking far enough ahead.

It's not just that political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.

All of reality grows out of the barrel of a gun.

Given that SC has established that only rights that applied at time Constitution written, the there should be only one gun law: "As determined by the Second Amendment, the only gun anyone can have is a breech loading musket"

Should First Amendment rights also be limited to 18th Century technologies?

Last week a court struck down a California law restricting what guns could be sold to 18 year olds. So part of the new law is already damaged.

I mean, maybe cops won't stop a mass murderer that's attacking children but they seem to love looking into peoples houses with thermal cameras so they can break the doors down like Batman if they grow anything you can smoke.

So many Constitutional "originalists" claim to know what the Founding Fathers had in mind.  Would they want any and all citizens to have automatic weapons?  Would they have envisioned the Internet where millions of people can be coaxed to falsely believe an election was stolen?

The only way Homo Sapiens will advance as a species is if reptilian-brained Reactionaries are squelched.  Preferably by launching them into the Sun.

The 'bill of rights' were ratified 3 years after the constitution.   So they weren't there originally.

I'm sure you thought this was clever, but a lot of restrictions have been placed on the 1st amendment when  can cause potential harm to other people

I think he should read up on his history. The founders weren't big on individual gun ownership. They gave people the right to own firearms in conjunction with militia membership but they knew every nutso shouldn't be packing heat.

In 1776 it took 30 seconds to load one round into a musket. Nobody thought personal firearms would be an issue in the long run.

None at ALL?

So if the gun blows your thumb off, or just plain explodes, or is made of old car parts painted black and sold as a brand new Desert Eagle, or has the tolerances of a Model-T Ford...that's all good because "shall not be infringed" means "nobody can put any restrictions on any gun anywhere ever"?

Ooookay. It's YOUR thumb kemo-sabe.

That's demonstrably false, and I'm not just talking about pepper boxes, volley guns, or those repeaters kings and other incredibly wealthy people had access to.

trained soldiers could crank off three aimed shots per minute.

These are the same people that refer to some nations as "Shathole countries"...You know,
the places where there are almost no taxes collected, people who drive around in armed convoys
with heavy machine-guns and there is open warfare between religious sects...Places so free
you can smell the gunpowder in the air and see dead bodies lying in the streets from all
the politeness nearly everyone having weapons openly carried and used to end petty disputes brings...

Yeah, but what are we talking about with the word "aiming"? Like in the ballpark right?
