Almost as disturbing as David Soul's "Don't Give Up On Us Baby" featured on Hulu's Candy. I was surprised the song was apparently a hit in the UK.

Lol. Doom Patrol is what dull people watch to pretend they're interesting.

They're both pretty dull. But...they make good "background noise" shows. Both of them try to hard to be weird in a "precious" kind-of way. Which sometimes is interesting, but not when that's, like, the whole show. Both shows are all style and very little substance, is what I'm saying. But the style has its appeal.

I think "Umbrella Academy" would have worked better as a movie trilogy. There's some good stuff there, but it is surrounded by HUGE PILES of filler. "Doom Patrol"...just doesn't quite work, period.

I like watching one streaming show (weekly or full-season) one at a time at my own pace. A lot of shows me and the Mrs like are all out at the same time.

I was able to delay watching ObiWan for a couple of weeks and only had to wait the last three episodes or so.

But the Mrs has me between Stranger Things, The Boys, Ms. Marvel, and now Umbrella Academy. She also started watching Only Murders in this Building and I can't keep up, apparently my limit is 4 different tv series at a time.

/Love Sausage should be the name of the Quasimodo looking Raven Academy guy.

I was sadly disappointed by this season of Umbrella Academy, it very clearly ran into a lot of production problems with Covid, so the vast majority of the season is scene after scene of 2 characters talking to each other on the same set.  Hell, the farking climactic action scene in the last episode is just a bunch of people wandering around the same hallway set over and over.  A lot of other things were fairly obnoxious too even without Covid problems, like Sloane.  Why the fark did they make the least interesting Sparrow the one with the most screentime?  I mean, god damn is she dull.

well, yeah, but UA S3 is at least starting out good and entertaining, unlike UA S2.  Doom Patrol won't have anything new for a fairly long while, i don't think... so... gotta finish up this and The Boys and then a new season of Titans should be coming up....  plus damn near all the Star Trek one can handle...

it's a great time ot be a farkin nerd

If you're referring to Elliot page, he was seriously only in Trailer Park Boys for like 5 episodes as a minor character. Whatever he has to say about that show isn't that consequential.

Also, I can't decide if that TPB role was shiat writing/acting or both, haha

Because she's amazingly hot. No other reason needed.

She was also the heart and brains (book smarts) of the Sparrows (other than maybe Christopher or Marcus), but I'm not disagreeing with you either

Are people still watching this show?  I watched the first season and it was sloooooooow AF.  People complain about the Marvel shows being too brief to tell a proper story but that was a prime example of a show having way too much time to do the same.

He put out an "album" and the best thing about it was it getting roasted by Desus and Mero.

Enjoyed the season. The transition from Vanya to Viktor was handled well and respectfully.

There were a ton of extra characters though, so there was some jumbled narrative. Hoping we get a good closure for everything.

Turns out a lot of us started making our own decisions, and not blindly following you.

Yeah, but it really was. My wife and I stopped watching midway through S2. She doesn't seem interested in starting S2 over because it has been a while.

They should have gotten the other Hawkeye to do a cover.
