I still believe Anita Hill.

and if he'd been hassled for being in an interracial marriage.

Yeah, because it's the liberals who are the racists. These people live in their own little world.

Cynical ploy by the third shiattiest Bush to replace Thurgood Marshall?

Voted to overturn Roe to coincide with the release of his book. Can't pass up the publicity.

aaronx: I still believe Anita Hill.

Honestly? I believe Anita Hill even MORE. Justice Thomas has shown who he is.

2022-06-27 8:16:56 PM
Oh, wow, what a surprise. A new book coming out? Really?

Just in time for you to be part of overturning Roe v. Wade?

And for hundreds of thousands of copies to be bought by PACs and dark money?

And what, you get like 3-4 bucks a book? Hardcover right? That is more for you in your pocket.

But that is a coincidence right? The fact that "ethically" 4-7 million dollars has just been shifted to you from these PACs, campaigns, and dark money for "buying your book" is not a big deal? Right? You are still a true "justice" of the supreme court.

What is happening right now is a perversion of justice of the highest level.

2022-06-27 8:17:03 PM
Those first years on the bench when he never said anything?  I miss those days.

2022-06-27 8:17:05 PM
Well he can resign any ole time and it would make me and countless others happy. And would make charges against his treasonous wifey-poo more likely to happen. Ya I know...wishful thinking...

2022-06-27 8:17:38 PM
Nothing that a conservative justice says from now on should be considered the truth.

2022-06-27 8:17:44 PM
It's because you are a right-wing crank, and they could pretend they weren't racist because you're black.

I will say I am surprised that he "celebrated" when he thought he didn't get the nod. I mean, just look at how happy he is today on the Extreme Court.

If the coup had succeeded, Ginni Thomas would have played a significant part in overthrowing democracy, and now Clarence Thomas is set to destroy what is left.

Are they what's called a "power couple"?

mybluemake: Cynical ploy by the third shiattiest Bush to replace Thurgood Marshall?

Bush père started the downfall of the Supreme Court by installing this piece of shiat in place of an icon.

Though, Rehnquist was a huge asshole, too. A proto-Kavanaugh (see: Operation Eagle Eye)

2022-06-27 8:21:13 PM
Clarence Thomas is an absolute piece of shiat human being but my beliefs make it difficult for me to wish he would just farking die.

That's because I believe dying brings great peace and serenity and this motherfarker deserves neither.

That's interesting phrasing, in his quote. Implies "liberals" and "bigots" are separate groups.

And of course, in reality, only one of them actually care about his interracial marriage.

Well, the idea that he never wanted the job in the first place DOES explain a lot of his decision-making.

Mugato!  You're out of line!  I want your badge and your gun and get the hell out of my precinct!

I just want to take a moment from this unrepentant right wing nut jobs utter disregard for American democracy to bring up Joe Biden. All the evils beset on this nation from actively hostile actors in life time appointment roles are second to that, and maybe Hunter's many laptops.

2022-06-27 8:35:45 PM
Really, you don't know why a Republican president picked a black hard core right wing justice to replace a black liberal justice? You need that explained to you?

Now hurry up and die, and take your traitor wife with you.

2022-06-27 8:36:13 PM
Well, your immediate resignation would have saved our nation a TON of pain, Tommy boy. Now turn yourself in so you can pay for helping your traitor wife.

2022-06-27 8:38:03 PM
Literally because you're unqualified and likely to have shiatty opinions that aren't supported by any kind of logic or reasoning.

Biden voted AGAINST Thomas, you shait for brains dumbfark.

2022-06-27 8:48:54 PM
Because after Bork's candidacy imploded, those cagey Republicans in the Senate - and their Heritage Foundation pals - correctly gambled that the Democratic Senators, no matter what ultimately transpired, wouldn't Bork the Black Guy...and sure enough, they tried to "hang out" with the guy as much as confirm him.

Until Anita Hill showed up and ruined the 'jive session'.

He still wrote opinions.

Thomas writes opinions more than any other justice. He writes separate opinions when he disagrees with the majority. He writes separate opinions when he agrees with the majority opinion. He writes separate opinions when he writes the majority opinion.

Soft bigotry of low expectations and all of that.

Can't say that Thomas hasn't lived down to them.

Like Trump he didn't expect his office, was terrified of it, and has spent his entire term compulsively taking that out on anything and everyone he can.

Look chief justice thomas, I imagine you and your wife were always pieces of shiat, but I doubt you'd been radicalized by fox news back before they were even created. However, old people can go "intense" meaning you come home for Christmas dinner and the Grandparents are putting on 20 minute dinner prayers to make up for 70 years of shiatty parenting.

Maybe it's not great to have geriatrics, poisoned with nostalgia, steering the ship.

This guy is one of nine unelected lifetime-appointed randos for whom there are no qualifications for employment and no possibility of accountability who arbitrarily believe they have the authority to override state and federal statutes and actual Constitutional text.

WTF did the founders think would happen?

Time to go to my nearest bookstore and move all his books to the comedy section.
