If you're wondering if it's worth watching the videos...Green calls Perkins a "coon" (not sure if that's filtered...if so it's the second half of the bandit animal slur). Perkins responds.

Draymond Green being a "sure-fire Hall of Famer" is why the NBA's Hall of Fame is a joke.  He's never even been the second-best player on a team.  Sure, he has a DPOY award.  So do Marc Gasol, Joakim Noah, and Marcus Camby.  His career highlight reel is just him punching players in the nuts.  He cost his team a championship with a stupid technical foul.  GSW would have been smart to trade him last season, when his value was still high.

This is just sad from both of them. You expect Colin Cowherd to stir the pot but they dont need to climb into that pot

Dennis Rodman wasn't the 2nd best player on the Bulls (probably was on the Pistons).

And there's an argument to be made that Green's more important than Klay Thompson.

There is no such thing as an NBA Hall of Fame.

Rodman won DPOY twice and led the league in rebounds for a record seven consecutive years.

Draymond led the league in steals once and I believe he finished 8th in assists one year.

And FWIW, I think Rodman is borderline at best for HOF.

This is true.

GSW calls Green the life of the team and there is analytical arguments for him being one of the best defenders in the league for a while.  (Just watch him cover all 5 players of a team in one play)

He thrives on shiat talking and its amazing to watch people get upset about it.  Also Rodman was setup to get rebounds and play that role.  People just discount non shooters all the time.

It's part of his game. But I think he went pretty low with this one and old fat-ass Perkins would probably still kick his ass.

Draymond won DPOY once. I wouldn't call him a hall of famer, necessarily, if he retired today, but I think he's more or less on his way.

Can also compare him to Ben Wallace. Draymond isn't the defender Wallace was, but he can shoot.

I haven't watched the NBA in 13 years but I have this impression that Green is like the Taylor Swift of basketball, always feuding with somebody, sometimes for good reason and sometimes for no damn reason.

Yeah, but he can't write a catchy tune.

Let's be honest: how many of us are going to retire from some office job and wish that our career highlight reel were actually us punching a bunch of people in the nuts?

Someone else can look this up but I believe the Warriors record without Green is worse than their record without Curry or Thompson.

Green has recorded more triple doubles while scoring under 10 points games than Rodman. Also more than Michael, more than Wilt, more than Magic, more than Lebron, more than Russell, more than Kobe, more than any other player that ever played the game.

He also had 5 blocked shots and 4 points that night. Nobody has ever filled up the stat sheet like Green does. I'm not much for predictions, but I suspect he's already a lock for the hall.

Green holds the all-time record for +/- in a single season.

Which is how much your team out-scores the other team. Which is the entire goal.

It was literally impossible for Russell and Wilt to record a triple double without points being counted, because blocked shots and steals were not recorded when they played.

Draymond's career rebound, blocks, assists, and steals averages are 7, 1, 5.4, and 1.4.  Since you made the Lebron comparison, his career averages are 7.5, .8, 7.4, and 1.6.  In addition to 27 points a game and a history of not getting technical fouls at crucial moments.  So people have filled up the stat sheets like Green, only with more points.

And the rest of your argument is that Draymond is better than Jordan because in the ten games where Jordan ever scored less than ten points, Jordan also didn't get a triple double.  And in the playoffs, the fewest points Jordan ever scored is 15, while Green, the champion that he is, averaged eight this last run.

Your argument is less than compelling.  I think the arguments about +/- and WAR are compelling, however.

Nobody is arguing that Draymond is better than Jordan.

I think the joke about Green's lack of numbers is he has the most triple-singles.

But what the Warriors need is a guy tough on defense who can pass the ball to the best shooters in the game. And that he does.

He does it extremely well.  My argument is that shouldn't get you into the Hall of Fame.
