40 years ago, our local -- 3 doors down -- Ugly Dog champ was a genuinely unfortunate mongrel who was scary to look at but as sweet as molasses. He was named Lucky.

I'm starting to believe some of these dogs are bred for their birth defects.
And that poor dog has a truckload of them.
