Can we have our own Supreme Court with Blackjack and hookers? I nominate Jeff Bridges for Chief Dude. We should also have an Orca on one of our monies.

Sheesh! Vermont even has an amendment to the state constitution on the November ballot  To GUARANTEE The RIGHT to ABORTION.

The Republican Governor is in favor of the amendment.

You folks got the shiatiest republicans

I wonder how that will play with the "Constitutional Sheriffs" in red counties.

At this point just fark them.   They can go getting all assholish in their own back water shiatholes.  Maybe they don't need those roads and bridges.

Don't be fooled.  Their organic, free-range, cruelty-free, non-GMO granola bars are delicious, but have WAY too much sugar.

This is basically 2 things:
- PR bullshiat. Everyone already knew these states were going to break this way
- California and Washington reassuring their broke friend Oregon, that yes, we will help you out again

/Oregon is so damn lucky to have those states on either side.
//Otherwise they'd be Alabama

Abortion rights are already codified in the Nevada state constitution. Cannot be repealed except by another state-wide vote by all voters.

What about the people who are too poor to travel to blue states to get abortions?

I mean, when those people aren't being shaken down by the DNC for political donations to "fight" for their reproductive rights in some vague, obscure way.

When their daughters get knocked up they'll be the first crossing the border.  Kinda like how the anti-vaccine doofuses from Idaho wound up clogging Spokane hospitals.

You want Alabama? 20 miles out of Seattle and you got internationally renown horse farkers. And you don't want to know what goes on in the Dry shiatties

Actually protesters brought fireworks and a makeshift flamethrower.

We are hardly just sitting there and taking it at this point, and it's deeply satisfying to watch cops scatter.

I'm not talking about the laws that are on the books. I'm talking about the ability to fight off the hillbilly lawsuits from Texas and other shiathole states that think they can sue states that allow abortions. Oregon has absolutely no ability to do that without financial support from West Coast partners.

Don't get me wrong, I love Oregon, but it is what it is. Oregon is not a state with any kind of financial resources.

California is already the 6th largest economy in the world, add Portland and Seattle metro areas (because nothing else in those states is worth shiat economically) and would we move up to 5th?

2022-06-25 3:19:39 AM
Blue states need to off-load physicians carrying for the state's patient and instead create a new class of abortion midwives that can address the massive influx of OUT OF STATERS seeking to have terminations.

If the law is going to become perverted by corrupt entities then Abortions as a religious practice is one of the few rational and logical conclusions.

Lol what the hell is Texas going to sue another state over?Nobody's gonna take that shiat seriously, and if they do, Washington isn't in some fancy position to fight it, either. California and New York are about it.

No. It's not a WP thing. But they invested a great deal in confusing the matter a few years ago, when they literally tried to lay claim to every symbol for anything.

/ A friend of a friend designed the green Cascadia flag, with the tree.

So does California. It was fast tracked through the legislature, passing through two committees in one day, which has to be some kind of governmental speed record.

No matter what the disinformationists would have you believe, the Left Coast secession movement is NOT a "Russian plant" it's been around for about 60 years in various forms; and it's probably going to happen within the next ten years. Deal with it.
