"If it's the worst state, why are you here? Why don't you leave ― go to another?

Because she believes in making it better rather than running away, you asshole.

2022-06-22 11:33:51 PM
Well, it's closer than 57.

(I assume this pearl of wisdom has already been posted on Twitter Truth.)

I'm willing to entertain the idea that he knows there are 50 states but thinks 50 - 1 = 51.

2022-06-23 12:48:47 AM
Perhaps he could be persuaded to help make it so?

Jesus McSordid: Perhaps he could be persuaded to help make it so?

52 states is necessary for the Star Trek future to occur, so are the Bell riots...

2022-06-23 1:22:18 AM
This is bad news.

For Obama!

2022-06-23 2:25:11 AM
He's including the states of Madness and Denial.

I'm really going to need his opinion on the return of the Mexican Pizza and the ensuing shortage before I consider not voting for him because I don't live there.

What is with that guy?

PR and DC. Book it, done.

Maybe he's getting the number of states confused with the number of kids he fathered and forgot about?

What are we up to now that we know of, 4?  5?

2022-06-23 6:33:26 AM
"why are there still apes? Think about it"

"...a department that can look at young men that's looking at women that's looking at social media"

truly a dizzying intellect.

2022-06-23 7:46:39 AM
My guesses on how he went wrong:
52 States - the continental 50 plus Alaska and Hawaii.
Or he's confusing it with the number of cards in a deck.

/Or he's a repeatedly concussed moron.

2022-06-23 8:08:36 AM

a far candle: I'm willing to entertain the idea that he knows there are 50 states but thinks 50 - 1 = 51.

Came to post this exact theory, leaving satisfied.

2022-06-23 8:09:03 AM
Let me guess

2022-06-23 8:09:09 AM
It's actually a math error:  50 - 1 = 51

2022-06-23 8:09:09 AM
Stern used to have his people run that in a little test on the street all the time. Walker didn't misspeak... he is just like the dumbasses that said "52" after previously stating how many cards are in a deck.

2022-06-23 8:10:42 AM
Obama wasn't saying how many states there are, he was saying how many states he visited and used the wrong f--ty number word.

2022-06-23 8:11:29 AM
Simple misspeak from Mr. Sperm Donor.  Maybe he was talking about how many kids he has?

2022-06-23 8:11:34 AM
'"Herschel misspoke ― he obviously knows there are 50 states," spokeswoman Mallory Blount told HuffPost.'

Yeah, but does he really?

GIMME A "C"
GIMME A "T"
GIMME AN "E"

2022-06-23 8:13:47 AM
Obviously Herschel Walker the FBI agent was speaking there. He lives in a United States where Puerto Rico and, for some reason, Newfoundland have been admitted as states.

2022-06-23 8:14:33 AM
Anyone who doesn't know how many states there are should automatically be disqualified for office.

2022-06-23 8:14:45 AM
Poor Herschel Walker, this dude is seriously brain damaged and has zero since of responsibility or shame.

In other words, the brain damaged Republicans will vote for him in a landslide.

2022-06-23 8:14:53 AM
He must be counting the states of inebriation and insanity.

2022-06-23 8:16:38 AM
And he as a senator is expected to comprehend such things as trillion dollar budgets....

There's nothing wrong with bringing up this gaffe and/or math error from him, but there are (and there will be) many legitimate reasons to use against Herschel. This one is a bit petty.

Who could have possibly foreseen he'd be such a shiatty candidate?

12349876: Obama wasn't saying how many states there are, he was saying how many states he visited and used the wrong f--ty number word.

I think context matters.  Obama was very intelligent and deserved the benefit of the doubt.  There's absolutely no evidence of Walker's intelligence.

Tom, Richard, or the FBI agent in Ozark?

The GOP is clearly taking advantage of a sick person with CTE who needs medical help, not a senate campaign.

The GOP is telling us precisely who they are and its galling that the numpty number in Georgia is possibly high enough to disregard how morally and ethically bankrupt the Repubs are.

2022-06-23 8:21:00 AM
Sounds like someone is in favor of statehood for Puerto Rico and D.C.!

Yes, and the right has never forgotten it and bring it up whenever possible. So now we have to do the same with Walker for simple fairness.

2022-06-23 8:21:33 AM
Yes Subby, because it would be highly racist to criticize him if he were a democrat.

2022-06-23 8:22:59 AM
Obama was a senator and president for 12+ years. Had the majority of his speaking in public recorded during that time. And that's all the right had on him.

Shrub, orange Fanta and Herschel CTE can't say their name without flubbing it and yet Obama is person who can't speak in public.

He's like a living example of every bad stereotype conservatives believe of black people. No wonder they like him.

2022-06-23 8:23:45 AM
Finally an intellectual Republican is running for office, and not some two but populous hack with high name recognition for being an asshole to the right people.

Oh he's a D alright

LMFAO.  No, they aren't.  They get 800 page bills with an hour to review them.  FFS, we had a Congressman who thought Guam might capsize.  The odds of Warnock or Walker ever reading anything besides a memoriam bill are very remote.

(Not to be read as an endorsement of having pathologically lying, mentally ill Senators, just an indictment of the legislative process.)

2022-06-23 8:27:50 AM
A man with literal brain damage is showing the level of intellect it takes to promote Republican policy & run for GOP candidacy.

2022-06-23 8:28:21 AM
Remember when Al Franken took stupid pictures and left politics? Maybe he should have been a wife beating deadbeat dad who had the intelligence of a room temperature bowl of egg salad. He'd still have a job with the GOP if that were the case.

2022-06-23 8:30:51 AM
54, if you include the jokers.

ArkPanda: Well, it's closer than 57.

To hear the spite right talk, that is Obama's only gaffe in two terms.  Every one of Trump's many gaffes and incoherencies was met with a chorus of 57 states!  57 states!

2022-06-23 8:33:47 AM

Gestalt: Sounds like someone is in favor of statehood for Puerto Rico and D.C.!

Came here to say this.

mrshowrules: 54, if you include the jokers.

And the smokers, and the midnight tokers.

2022-06-23 8:36:04 AM
This is probably the least stupid thing he's said.

synithium: '"Herschel misspoke ― he obviously knows there are 50 states," spokeswoman Mallory Blount told HuffPost.'

I'd bet even after being corrected, he still doesn't.

There's something wrong with that guy.

2022-06-23 8:39:07 AM
I think both Joe Manchin and Mitch McConnel are now legally considered an entire state.

2022-06-23 8:42:26 AM
The number doesn't matter.  He's only a small way from telling her to go back to her "homeland."

2022-06-23 8:42:56 AM

Fart_Machine: mrshowrules: 54, if you include the jokers.

Well he does get his lovin' on the run.

2022-06-23 8:43:46 AM
I don't think he thinks there are 52 states. I think he doesn't know how to subtract 50 by 1.
