One of the better college classes I took was "Gravitational Astronomy" The professor was a really good guy.
He developed a course that took place in the APPLE II room. Where you started out doing basic Newtonian physics gravity simulation. Then slowly building on that app you wrote...in "BASIC" adding in Dy/Xy type stuff....and finally ending with having a 'planet' of a certain mass...and being about to launch objects at it or from it to get them to orbit.

I accidentally added the orange and green planets simultaneously. They were initially one immediately behind the other, green behind orange.

Im hoping orange makes it all the way round and smashes into green.

Weren't you supposed to add a minimum of 10 planets?

Good luck without precise calculations... it turns out the n-body problem is tough to just wing it.

It's still a fun thing to have up while I'm waiting for some data to extract/process/make a machine go 'bing'
