sozelle: And?

It's kind of interesting?

Nah.  Smith Jr. and Holmgren are going to go 1 & 2 in some order.  Banchero probably ends up in Houston or Sacramento.

I don't think Seattleites holds any ill will towards Oklahoma City anymore. Sure, we're upset we lost the Sonics, but moving the team away to Oklahoma City is just karma for the owners. Who the hell would rather live in Oklahoma than Washington?

Fuck OKC. Fuck the NBA and fuck the state of Oklahoma.

The owners would. They love Oklahoma and all the bible-thumpin', gun-totin', sister-fuckin', sovereign-citizen Real Americans who live there. Fuck them.

Naw. Many of us are still raw as hell about it. Those landlocked trump humpers can jump off a cliff. Except they really can't because Oklahoma doesn't have mountains.

You might ask some of us before making that assumption.  Most people I know are still pissed about it, and root against the Zombie-Sonics every chance we get, rooting for them to fail at every turn.

Honest question: have you even watched a Zombie Sonics game over the last two years? After a surprise bubble-playoff run, they are now well into the tankiest of tanks whose roster now has some of the most under-developed, strangest-shaped humans I've ever seen.

I'm not joking. Half of their team last year didn't even look like professional athletes of any kind, let alone basketball players.

Spending energy to root against that is almost cruel at this point.

/at least wait until they're somewhat good again and store up hate reserves

Holmgren would have been perfect for the old Sonics - pasty, hunchbacked, and doomed to flame out early.

I would love to see OKC draft the second coming of Robert Swift.

/Swift actually could have been pretty good
//derailed by early injuries and then made himself over-muscled in his long comeback
///and was kind of a weirdo

Wrong...we're still bitter.

And if we ever get a team again, I look forward to the abuse that the Okies will receive when OKC is in town.

Seattle really could have used a few years of Durant and Westbrook. It would have coincided with the rise of the Seahawks.

Seattle bandwagoners, the lot of them.  The true Western Washington rival has and always will be Eastern Washington.

/even when they suck
