I remember when the Mariners lost a game they had led 12-0 and then 14-2.

*sigh*

Definitely looks like a football score.

...and in the second game UCLA returned the favor, giving up 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th to lose 8-7.

I don't get it. If it's a double elimination tournament, why do the Beavs advance if they tied the two game series? DId I miss a game?

Single elimination tournament: Lose and go home.
Double Elimination: Lose twice and go home. It doesn't matter who the loses are against. UCLA lost earlier in the tournament. The Beavers' first loss was the first game. If they had won that, UCLA was out. The loss was the Beavs first loss, so they had to play UCLA again to see who would advance.

I remember that, I think it was Cleveland. Anyway, we were watching and bored as the Ms were way up. So we go to someone's house and then decided to go shoot some pool. At the bar we thought they were playing a different game on TV.

"When we left it was 10 to nothing!"
