As someone that loved The Librarians for it's cheesy wholesomeness, I say that I could go for a National Treasure series.

Bruckheimer seems pretty convinced Nicolas Cage will be returning, too.

I don't know about that. I hear Cage is awfully particular about the films he agrees too.

This sounds better than 90% of the pablum that Hollywood is currently crapping out.

Think about that for a minute. You know I'm right.

Pablum, eh. Dreck and/or tripe are some of my favorite assaults as well!
Name a collaboratively created product (or service) that has a singular, superlative quality.
And realize that is what Communists must publicly avow about everything.

National Treasure was the best 4th Indiana Jones movie.

It was clearly written to be Indiana Jones, Spielberg passed, so they modernized it and made it generic treasure hunter.

And they're a hell of a lot of fun. Some Sundays I just stream them and chill. Feel Ed Harris was miscast in the second one or the character is just ill-conceived. Still a fun ride thougj

It would be great to watch it. I really liked both movies and am looking forward to the third one. It got me into history, all that mysterious things and I absolutely love Nicolas Cage.

More the other way around.  Jones is the generic treasure hunter, traveling the world in search of museum pieces.  Nic Cage's character only focuses on American (national) treasures that have a personal connection to his family.  At least so far.

All I know about them besides the Declaration of Independence being a MacGuffin in one of them and Nic Cage starring is that Sean Bean is in one of them and his character does not die, which by all rights should create a paradox that destroys the universe.
