Biologists say the animal is showing more aggressive behavior, including separating children from their parents in the water and isolating swimming pets from their owners.

Sounds like Flipper is just trying to save the saveable from Texas.  Animals know.  The kids probably had MAGA swimsuits from their parents while the dogs obviously had dog whistles.

Stay out of the water. That's their home, not yours. For all intensive porpoises, we created this problem.

Really?  "Dolphins vs. Texans", and it's the DOLPHINS that are the Assholes?

you think swimming with dolphins are expensive, if you swim with sharks it might cost you an arm and a leg

Peter loved rubbing his mouth on her legs. Margaret rightly concluded that Peter was trying to court her. He was positioning his underbelly and the genital area to where it could be fondled by her. It was a benign invite for sex from a dolphin which could very well be aggressive and demanding for same. Ignoring him could cost Margaret her job. Sending Peter down to female company time and again was eating into her training hours and a sexually agitated dolphin was not receptive for learning. So, in her wisdom, she decided to masturbate the aroused dolphin the hope that a sated dolphin will get back to the training schedule in earnest.

Too bad they had money problems. That makes a lot of relationships tough.

Why should they leave? We're the ones who suck.

Have they tried just shooting them? Seems like their go to solution for everything in Texas.

My sister worked at Yellowstone and they got a message about needing a sign about warming people that dolphins were wild animals and could be dangerous.  They made the newly required sign and stuck it near some pond where almost no one will ever see it.  Apparently putting up stupid signs is part of the job and finding the "best" place to put them is part of the game.

NOAA says dolphins can become increasingly dangerous throughout four stages. The North Padre Island dolphin is in Stage 4, the rapey stage.

I hope all the dolphins start attacking people.  As smart as they are, they could clear out the ocean.  I watched some show where 3 guys lost their boat, and they were floating around on the overturned boat for six days, waiting for rescue. The one guy adds in there, quite casually, that on the fourth day, the sharks and jellyfish found them, and one guy got badly stung.  But then dolphins showed up and drove the sharks and jellyfish away.

He doesn't even notice that the dolphins saved their lives.  It was barely part of the story.
