It's not cannibalism for Ewoks to eat people.  Ewoks aren't human.

Well
fark
This is apparently the wrong thread.....

So the impact ILM had on movies is unfarkinkbelievable. Gojira (1954) was an honest attempt at realistic effects that turned into the camp of later films because they were aware they weren't going to make it look realistic, so they made it artistic.
Star Wars comes along and solves those composting problems and revitalized the film industry.

Has a lifelong Star Wars fan, I don't believe there is any behind the scenes documentary that you could show me that hasn't been shown already.

It is good weed
Early use of computers to control movement. Chromakey had been a thing for years, but they advanced that as well.
Stars Wars would have probably been forgotten if it weren't for the visual effects

"On the panel, Johnston talked about designing the most instantly recognizable ship the Star Wars universe"

How about most recognizable ship of all time in all cinema. Seriously, they're paying these folks to write garbage.

Shameless plug and desperate cry for work: I am an smolist. If a Star Wars themed smol (or any other type of smol for that matter) might be of interest to you, EIP. A sample of my work can be found here. I now return you to your regularly scheduled exalting or derision of ILM and/or Star Wars in general, already in progress.

Yeah, but some of the Rebels might have had some roasted Imp, either accidently or...

(Unless you're not counting television as "cinema". In which case substitute one of the movie versions.)

Everybody must get stoned. Someone called one of my pieces a smol gai or something like that, so the term stuck. And a curtsy in your general direction.
