(Phys Org2)   Does that explain why rich inbred scions of the criminally corrupt cut the tails off dead elephants?   (phys.org) divider line

Um, the elephants aren't using them anymore...

They think it's the penis, they want to know what one that isn't tiny looks like... I mean, yeah, they all either get their wives to participate in BBC cuckold scenes, or want to, but these guys are so insecure that they get confused really easily.

Did the researchers make sure to lecture the people first about how unsustainable all the stuff they wanted was? Because something sounds awfully circular about it.

Simple solution:  Tell them the tails of living elephants are far rarer and thus more valuable.  It will sort itself out.

FTA:"The researchers theorized that people who describe themselves as being in a lower social class may think more communally, which may protect them from feeling entitled by paying a higher price "

This is the voice of privilege. Poor people don't buy stuff they cannot afford? Well I'll be damned. Turns out they understand those sour grapes are merely a tool to oppress the working class and are a symbol of colonialist oppression.

Cutting the tails off elephants is a tradition that goes back to the 1850s ivory trade, it was a mark of ownership that was almost universally respected. It was common for ivory hunters to wait a couple of days until the tusks naturally loosened to remove them (rather than risk damaging them by chopping them out immediately) then give the carcass to the local people, who would have gathered from miles around for meat.

Half-Scoop is still an a-hole.

"Yes, I am a piece of shiat" is an admission that the rich are just dying to make.

Get a bunch of poor people together to start a business. Mark up a product ridiculously. Sell it to rich people. Enjoy wealth transfer.

Half Scoop isn't really inbred.  He just acts like he is.
