I love that it was the dude who just had shoulder surgery.  And who also is an anti-vaxx jerkoff.

Screw him.

They're behind the Pirates currently. That's all you gotta say to know how their season is going.

Just wondering how often a position player has pitched an inning in past seasons, because its happed a lot this season.

This being baseball, with all of the other stats available (who has the most 9th inning doubles in the month of August??) of course somebody put it together, to bad its from 2017.

There was the epic 17 inning Phillies game a few years ago where Wilson Valdez pitched...and got the win.

luis gonzalez did well on sunday for the giants.  he got 5 outs on like 8 pitches, and only needed 16 to get through 2 innings only giving up 1 hit

he got roughed up when they decided to bring him back on no rest on monday though

The Reds used to be pretty good and the Bengals sucked, now the Bengals are good and the Reds suck.

The 9th in Dodgers v Dbacks was also fielder on fielder pitching. Gavin Lux got called out on a dubious strike three call, and you could see the utter shame and humiliation on his face.

I don't like watching pitchers hit, and watching hitters pitch.

The Cubs are dog-dirt this year. It's like the entire organization from head to toe was completely satisfied with their one, singular World Series win in 2016 and have reverted back into sucky form.

This is still horrible pitching even for a position player.  Either this guy wasn't trying or he was a rare MLB player who wasn't a good Little League pitcher and they should have found someone else.

Checks to see if eephus pitch. Not quite, but the announcers reactions are usually funnier than the players when that happens.
