Why is that? Did something happen involving Twitter that I missed?

Palined Parenthood: Why is that? Did something happen involving Twitter that I missed?

It's all free speech now.  The market was desperate for this.  It's going to be as big as Parler!  Maybe even as big as 4Chan.

That they're getting a free US$1 billion from Elon because he can neither keep his mouth shut nor afford to buy the company now that Tesla is tanking?

They accepted the deal so it'll be: "When is LORD ELON THE NEVER WRONG going to get around to following through on the purchase at the original price? We're cashing out."

Just because of that remark, I put a downpayment on another Cybertruck!

And by god, he will spend as much fighting it.

I think this is "Musk is going to go broke" rev. 17 or so.

Facebook's shareholder meeting is today too. They've lost $500 billion in shareholder value.

Wasn't his offer $54/share?  You'd think Twitter would have more support than the $38'ish/share it is going for now.  It looks like an easy $16/share.  Clearly the market doesn't think Musk is going to follow through on his promise.

Elon?  No follow through?

No!

Is Musk still trying to undervalue it because of bots so he can get it for a cheaper price?

He already agreed to buy Twitter for $44B and agreed to make the purchase without doing due diligence like determining the percentage of users were bots.  Elon Musk, Super Genus.

Exactly my point. They want to sell for that premium, and he's balking because Tesla nose-dived.

Its less Tesla is nosediving and more he didn't do his due diligence before making the offer.
I mean lets be honest Twitter made like 100 million in net profit last year.
You can't pay off the interest rates on the loans he needs to make with that little profit let alone the principle.

Can't imagine why things aren't going well for Twitter thanks to this galaxy-brained f*ck.

Man, the legal battle to force him to pay $54/share would definitely leave me with an erection lasting longer than 4 hours.

You know he'd fight that, he couldn't even be bothered to come up with $6bln to help end world hunger.
