Go Bills!

I see this guy as never getting over that hump no matter how good a team he has around him.  He's gonna end up like Marino with a solid team his whole career but there always being another slightly better

It's as good a year as any.  The Chiefs are replacing Hill with some fairly meh guys (not to mention their division is going to be absolute murder), the Ravens are apparently convinced it's 1962 and they don't need any WR's, the Bengals won't sneak up on anyone, the Titans just lost AJ Brown so not sure if Henry's getting 8-9 in the box every down, the Chargers will have to deal with the same division as KC.  Not saying Buffalo has a cake walk division but nobody in the AFC is getting to the playoffs without getting roughed up.

Was that a Bills defensive back getting beaten on that play in about 13 seconds?

I always love these OTA and Camp tweets. The Bears would post the same stuff about Trubisky too.

The Chiefs all have already crested, I think the decline really gets noticeable this season.

Bills were my pick last year for the AFC. Same goes for this year.

I want this to be the case but Mahomes has entered the Brady/Rodgers area where unless time is up there's still reason to be on edge.  I feel much better that Kelce turns 33 during the season and has maybe a good year or two left in him.  And here's hoping the o-line never quite gels, Edwards-Helaire has a sophomore slump, and the new WR's are dime store imitations of Tyreke Hill.

Before this past season, I would concede that Mahomes was better than Allen, but at this point, I don't think you can say that anymore.

I'd put them at exactly the same level right now.  1A and 1B.

That playoff game was just about the most tremendous combined display of QB play that I've ever seen.  They matched each other blow for blow, and neither one cracked.  It really did come down to the coin flip.

Which hump? He's the best QB in the league right now and Mahomes is literally standing next to him in terms of talent. Missed Championship game because of a bad special teams call/miscommunication, not because of allen.

He's also the only QB to have 'pitched a perfect game' so to speak; against the Pats, in the post-season.

If the Bills don't make it to the SB this year because of offense, then you can say that. This is the best team he's had around him yet. We have all of the pieces now.

That's not an answer.

I would expect the Bills to win the AFC this year because the Bengals will take a step back and all four teams in the AFC West are liable to go either 10-6 or 9-7 and beat the absolute piss out of each other.

The season is a long ways away, though.

/go Broncos

After 2 decades of Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, and Roethlisberger, I'm more than ready for the next generation of star QBs. Other than Mahomes, still waiting to see who's a legit long term talent and who just had 1 or 2 good seasons. Burrow, Allen, Jackson, Murray, Jones, and Herbert all have a lot of potential. Meanwhile, you've got the A- tier of veterans - Wilson, Stafford, Tannehill, Carr, and even Cousins - to round things out.

I will always cheer for them to make it to the SB......then lose.
It's tradition and should never change.

He may have "pitched" a perfect game. After the Bills got "run over" by the Pats.
Bills will always be the AFC East JV squad. You got lots of catch up to play over there.

Run over in a game with conditions that are so rare that that was the only thing that saved you.

Enjoy living in the basement with lil Mac this year.

Win is a win, you should know that better than most.
You talking about the best QB out of last year's draft? Who led a ho-hum team to the playoffs when everyone like you said the Pats were a sub .500 team?
Yeah, I'm good with him.
I can't wait to see what an off season of constant conditioning, work with Tom house and training with his receivers will do. It's cool, keep sleepin'
THIS ONE will surely be the Bills year!

This is the year Winston finally moves out of the middle of the pack and shatters the single season interception record. 45 picks this year, that's my prediction. He has all the ingredients for "success", with a lack of offensive talent around him, longtime coach retiring, no reliable backup (to my knowledge anyways, maybe NO added someone), a defense strong enough to roll with the punches, and most importantly a team with minimal/no expectations.

Only somewhat related, but it's still funny to me that there was a 7 year period where if you picked a Bills vs 49ers Super Bowl you'd be half-right. But only half-right

Josh Allen has to be my favorite QB to watch right now, and the fact that he has gotten measurably better ever year since entering the league is telling - I actually think he has yet to hit his ceiling.

He showed up at camp under weight. I bet he's not even 200lbs anymore.

Josh Allen has been great for the league and the city of Buffalo.

I respect the hell out of the guy, and I enjoy the antics of the Bills Mafia.

I'm also a life-long Patriots fan whose son has the middle name Drew. Go figure.
