(Above the Law)   Although Duke still sucks, they are right about this one. "[I]t's not like Alito's career up to this point provided much to suggest he's some kind of deep legal thinker. "   (abovethelaw.com) divider line

"So, it says here you clerked for the Supreme Court. How did that go?"
"It was a great honor and a great learning experience."
"No it wasn't. You clerked for Alito. We looked it up."

Counterpoint: the NTSB studies crashes a lot more than they study successful trips, and they still know a fark of a lot about cars and trucks.

Yeah. I mean it doesn't really matter how flawed Alito's reasoning is. We can make fun of him. Poke holes in his logic. Post disparaging memes about him. It doesn't change anything. Roe is still getting overturned and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

2 people can do something about it.  Roberts can decide he doesn't want his name on the court that took away a right for religion and partisan politics, and Kavanaugh and can remember what it was like in college escaping parental responsibility by paying for a $300 abortion every once in a while.  Just those two is all it would take, and they'd catch hell for it, but they wouldn't be impeached and they can't be fired.

Yes, perhaps two of the conservative Catholic justices will uphold abortion rights.

Conservatives have never wanted rule of law. They want rule of them.
