"The guy working at the airport is the victim. He came to work to do a job. The other guy, with his big mouth, is guilty of workplace abuse, where people come to work with an expectation of safety, even civility. This a**hole who hit this guy should be put on a no fly list."

So, Black United Airlines passengers should learn to take a face punch with grace and forgiveness? I am gonna say no on that one, Mr. reckless homicide guy.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say maybe Alec Baldwin should sit all of them out. For the rest of his life.

Yeah, you'd know all about verbal abuse and workplace violence.  At least he didn't kill anyone, Alex.

But you're absolutely right - the guy who threw the first punch should be not only fired, but also put on a no-fly list.  Plus banned from ever holding a skilled job again, because his continued insistence on a fight demonstrates that he obviously has no f*cking sense.  I mean, Langley gave him a few minor swats, which knocked him on his doughy ass.  And he's staggering up, puttin' up his dukes like they do in the movies, pretending he knows what he's doing in a fight, all macho an' shiat.

He's lucky that pro athlete didn't let him get in a clear (almost certainly weak) shot and then deliver a serious beat-down.

Seems to me he would know a lot about it.

Langley was later arrested for simple assault and the employee was hospitalized and later terminated.

seems excessive

I haven't seen the start of the altercation, only the TMZ video starting mid-fight. Did the worker start the fight?

According to TFA, in the first second of the video, you can see the employee doing.....something.  I don't know what since the imbedded video doesn't want to play for me.

The video shows the employee slapping Langlay but it's clearly the middle of the altercation. No clue of it was already physical or if that was the first swing.

Whatever he did, the camera was behind Langley and he was in front of him, so who TF knows?  Looks like he may have shoved him in the chest as he walked by, but that's a guess.

To my mind, the fact that he put up his fists and shuffling around like he was trying to copy something he saw on PPV meant he came on spoiling and got what he repeatedly asked for.

He just doesn't know how to shut the f*ck up.

Completely incapable of it.

Yes...but when is Woody Harrelson gonna tell me about the evils of Devil's Lettuce?

Srsly, bruh - I'll take dating tips from Amber Heard before I take Workplace Safety from the likes of liberal quiverfull Baldwin.

(Seriously, bruh...stop breeding and shooting coworkers!  Oopsie or not...come ON man.  How many Baldwins does one population need?

Personally, I don't need to know what happened before or who started it to see that both were clearly at fault.

Even if everything to begin with was fully justified for him, the employee going and smacking the other guy in the face when he appeared to be walking away fully justifies firing him. At the same time, the passenger seemed more than happy escalating it at various points.

What happened before may determine what charges I feel are appropriate, but I suspect that 99 out of 99 times a fight like that in an airport is going to have the passenger arrested first and questions asked later.

Now for some safe driving tips from Brandy Norwood and Rebecca Gayheart!

I think the solution is put both on a no fly list for let's say a decade. Let's see if other people take notice.

/ also add to the no fly list people dressed ready for bed time
// no shoes, banned for life

Wait don't airports have a huge police/security presence? How they fark did that go on so long?

Oh, and Baldwin should probably take up mime.

Well, what does that mean start a fight? I feel anyone who lays hand on another in anger has liability, and others feel some verbal comments warrant a physical response. It seems the passenger was an asshole for using a wheelchair for a cart, and the employee may have been an asshole for the way he handled it.
