I would LOVE to run in someone like Stone in a nice quiet thrift store.

*shrug*

Thrift shops often have the look he goes for. Plus the clothes are already seeded with old man smell, he doesn't even have to break them in.

How a Tax Case Could Force Roger Stone to Cough Up Jan. 6 Records

The request is part of a tax evasion lawsuit brought against the Stones last year. But for the MAGA world's preeminent cocktail-clutching coxcomb, it could carry ramifications well beyond the IRS.

The judge's order would force the Stones to disclose a potential treasure trove of evidence. Prosecutors would obtain records of any financial activity of Stone tied to the Jan. 6 riot and "Stop the Steal" efforts, as well as potential payments from pardon-seekers, politicians, and private boosters-and, possibly, information about accounts that the Stones haven't yet disclosed.

So far, however, the Stones have refused to comply.

Federal prosecutors filed the multimillion-dollar lawsuit against the Stones last April. The suit alleges that the Stones defaulted on $2 million in unpaid taxes going back a decade and, through various schemes, attempted to conceal money and other assets from government collectors.

The docket has been quiet for two months while the parties entered mandatory mediation talks. But they appear to have come out of those negotiations swinging.

Fair, since Stone is a dildo.  BUT, for your normal person, thrift shopping in the right locations can be a great way to get awesome deals on high-end, well-made clothing and put together a unique look since you're not just buying this year's trends.  You just need to find the places where rich people dump their lightly used stuff and the price point is too high for people either buying just to survive or for lulz (like college students making costumes).  It helps if you're willing to alter what you buy as well so you have more size/cut options.

Of all the things to give Roger Stone a hard time about, shopping at a thrift store is not included. It's an economically, ecologically, and socially responsible thing to do.

It's the implications of shopping in a thrift store when you pretend to elite status that you can give Roger Stone a hard time about.

New clothes are both overpriced and extremely difficult to justify environmentally. Fast fashion is simply not sustainable. The only things I buy "new" are sports apparel (running shoes, chamois, etc.) If I ever buy clothes other than that (very rarely) it almost certainly comes used from resale shops or Ebay.

Buying from a thrift shop doesn't mean you're poor. It means you're smart.

I found a practically new north face yesterday at a good will. Too small for me (and I don't wear northface) but I remember those going big while I was in college.

It's weird to see stone there but that's something I won't judge him on. Find a decent suit, get it altered, and it works.

/it's also where I find sportsball jerseys for my son

That seems very risky health-wise.

They depreciate so much in value once you remove them from their original packaging. Not really worth it.

He should be getting Ramen and Twinkies at the commissary and trading them for protections so he doesn't get a beat down in the yard.
