The SCOTUS has made it clear they'll overturn everything. Why would states be shy about ignoring past precedent?

Go for it. Make this entire era of the court illegitimate.  Makes it that much easier to undo.

Between this case and West Virginia v EPA, you can bet that the SCOTUS will agree and strike down the ability for the government from being able to function.

Why let it function when you end up having to bring cases for every little thing, and have to rely on the courts for legislation to be applied and enforced?

This was warned about when RBG died, the foundation of government action could be undermined by the SOCUS. Imagine the SEC can't enforce fraud laws, the EPA can't enforce environmental laws, OSHA can't enforce worker safety laws, and the FDA can't enforce food quality standards, the GOP wet dream.

Refusing to expand the judiciary was worth it, though. We preserved the integrity of the Supreme Court.

I look forward to the Thomas opinion that explains how important your 7th Amendment right to a jury trial in civil matters is, but your 6th Amendment right to have a lawyer's help to keep the government from executing you is more of like a guideline.

Yeah, but she wanted a woman to appoint her successor. Wouldn't that have been cool?

Guess what would have been even cooler?

If people like you scooped their heads out of their asses and showed up to the polls like it was their civic f*cking duty.

This was warned about long, long before 2020.

It's past the to eliminate the 5th circuit. They are capable only of judicial malpractice.

Which has always been bullshiat, because in the US courts are both courts of law and courts of equity. And the equity side is essentially trying to do what is fair, aka justice.

looks like the only judicial finality and precedent this sc believes in are death penalties.

/ "sorry you're innocent, you've already been sentenced to death. stare decisis means you have to die."

Fark it, let them do it. It'll just steel my resolve that much more to finally go back home to Canada. Fark where this country is going...

Any way my son and I could tag along?

We're part of a demographic republicans want to kill.

Not even the Hulk could rend his t-shirt and gnash his teeth hard enough to respond to his court decision. That's freaky frustrating.
