FTA: "As a side note, the Beast report also reveals Cohen also testified Trump lived in fear of being 'pied' after it happened to Microsoft founder Bill Gates with Pagliery quoting the attorney testifying, 'For some reason that upset Mr. Trump terribly. We were all instructed that if somebody was to ever throw anything at him, that if that person didn't end up in the hospital, we'd all be fired,'"

You hear that? If you really want to annoy Trump, all you'd have to do is give him a nice messy creampie to the face.

Jeezus at this point we should just pardon the a-hole for all crimes done in office and give him a friggin medal. Let him sit in satisfaction and leave the rest of us alone.

Remember when he made the bold claim, under oath, that Trump would not leave office peacefully?

Yeah, I think he's gained some credibility.

Whoever gave the testimony that best fit the available evidence, I would assign a higher probability to them having spoken truthfully.  You can't actually tell the difference between a careful lie spoken by a good liar and the truth.  You can't even trust that they didn't simply make an honest mistake rather than lie.  Nobody can tell 'the truth' about anything that needs to see a jury, because we all perceive things differently and we all have highly fallible memories.

But you can look at a witness' motivations and where things don't add up, and if there's enough to go on you can make a reasonable guess.  As frightening as it is, that's what it comes down to for even the most diligent and honorable jurist; they guess.

I wouldn't ask for video evidence of everything (not just because that's impossible), but I don't think I'd take anyone's word in a matter of importance without some kind of corroborating evidence.

However, as the new report states, Cohen gave testimony that he was in the room when the protesters were discussed and, under questioning, stated Trump asked security head Keith Schiller, "Did you see that there's a demonstration going on? Get rid of them," to which Schiller reportedly replied, "Okay, boss."

And they think that's going to stand up in court as irrefutable evidence that he told an employee to commit violence?  JFC.

If it's part of a pattern of behavior, approving of the violent tactics can (if one is not an idiot) be seen as a request to do just that the next time he asks a subordinate to "get rid of" someone.

Good thing for Trump that he probably hasn't uttered similar commands since...

I don't see how trump could not be convicted of perjury, because pretty much everything that comes out of his ugly mouth is a lie. About the only true thing I've ever heard him say is, "No, I don't take any responsibility at all."
